Does sm desensitise us? The first time a bot responded with ‘Fuck off you dumb fat ugly bitch,’ I was shocked. I’d never been spoken to like that irl. But after the 100th time, I was impervious. Was I desensitised or had I just toughened up to speak my mind? It’s the latter.
