Agents reinvented how we produce code. It changed our tools and half of our workflow. It’s time for the other half to catch up.
Today, we’re shipping Entire: the Git forge for agent-human collaboration. We’ve built @GoEntire using Entire. Now we want to see what you'll build with t’s different. 🧵

Revolut has 75 investors who put in $1,857,816,794 over 24 rounds (Crunchbase, today).
2016 Balderton takes a board seat, 2017 Index the second, somewhere in between an investor asks him to fire his best person for being "too hardcore", and in February 2020 both seats go to independents on the same day.
He kept the person. Nine directors today, none of them from the 75.

Revolut founder Nik Storonsky says one of his investors tried forcing him to fire his best person:
“He was forcing me to fire my best person, because he was too hardcore.”
“Of course I didn’t fire him. I said no.”
“Pretty early on I realized that quite a few VCs, they are not hey can be actually dangerous for the company if they have enough power. So every single investment round, we just remove VCs.”
“Now I don't have any VCs on the board. I think that's the best. You always need to have operators rather than VCs on the board, people who actually build business and who know how to do things.”

Congratulations to @MaxJunestrand and the entire @WeAreLegora team!
We have raised a $550M Series E at an $8.8B valuation, led by Atreides.
Every major existing investor is back in, and we’re welcoming Baron Capital, Capital Group, Fidelity, Glade Brook and J.P. Morgan. We picked investors who think in decades. Several of them work with law very day, so they can see where the work is heading.
Lawyers are moving from AI assistants to agents that do multi-step work. The money goes there. We’re growing our teams across North America, Europe, Latin America and Asia-Pacific, and going deeper on the Legora aOS.
Thank you to the 1,000+ people at Legora, and to the 140,000 legal professionals who use what we build.
I say this a lot because I believe it: it’s the best time in history to be a lawyer. We're thankful to be a part of it.

Christian joined the @etnshow to chat about Cherry's new Heartbeat report, and where Europe's top founders are studying and what it means about how much they can raise, check it out:
US-educated founders raise more, even in Europe. @CherryVentures Founding Partner @chrismeermi breaks this down on the show:
"Where you study decides what you raise."
"US-educated founders raise a median first round of $3.5 million in Europe. Europe-educated founders raise $1.5 the degree level."
"That doesn't mean they have studied their whole studies in the US--they could have been there for a year in Stanford or MIT."
"...quite crazy, right? So basically, a semester abroad kind of gives you double the funding round."
"Because I think you usually have like a very strong network. You maybe have kind of better access to international investors, or people think you're able to attract better talent."

Filip joined the DEALMACHER podcast to talk about why it's time for Europe to deliver. The next 10 to 20 years will determine whether successful companies in AI, energy, defense, and space emerge in Europe. If not, we'll be paying rent to the US and China > listen to the full ep!
Spannendes Gespräch zu unserer Arbeit mit @CherryVentures, Europa und den technologischen Herausforderungen der nächsten Jahre. Thanks for having me, @iskenderdirik! 💫🍒🇪🇺

Proud to be an investor in @Robco_Robotics - the next frontier for AI is physical!
Europe has JUST got another robotics unicorn!
LETS GO
The German company builds autonomous industrial robots.
Its main one is called Alfie - a purpose-built robot for the autonomous industrial lifecycle that can perform a range of unstructured, safety-critical work on factory in 2020 by @romanhoelzl and its first robot will go on sale early next year.
Today, it is announced to be running a secondary sale at a $1 billion+ valuation.
Existing investors including Sequoia, Lightspeed, Greenfield, Kindred and Lingotto are taking part, as well as new investors @CherryVentures.
I love seeing secondary sales and I love seeing Europe get more deep tech unicorns. This is a DOUBLE WIN WIN ON A MONDAY MORNING.
Huge congrats to the @Robco_Robotics team!

The best companies aren’t always the loudest. They just keep building.
Roman started from Germany and recently moved to the US to build RobCo on the ground.
1,000+ robots. 3.5M+ operating hours later, the team has built the foundation for what we believe will become a Congrats Roman and team — incredibly excited to partner for what’s ahead. 🍒🤖
