AI is killing traditional recruiting methods. When I started recruiting, people still cold called candidates all day long. Smiled and dialed. Very early on I saw LinkedIn take off then soon after email became a channel for mass outreach thanks to more wildly available data. These two methods stayed the main channels for well over a decade. In the last few years automation and AI has increased the volume of inbox clutter and everything feels disingenuously written. The next generation of hiring isn't going to come from the old school channels.

We have a little over 9 weeks left in 2027, however most companies will start to slow hiring down in about 4 weeks from now. There is a huge competitive advantage to continuing to interview through the holidays. Less competition, candidates have more free time to interview, and the mood is just dare I say, more jolly.
