To CEOs, CFOs, CIOs and Directors:

Have you read the White House Accord on Super Intelligence? What will you do to safely deploy Super Intelligence within your Enterprise?

EY and 8090 are building a new solution - KYSI (Know Your Super Intelligence) designed to create a -enabled decisions by capturing the context and evidence, and spotlighting controls, across enterprise environments. The solution helps organizations strengthen governance while keeping pace with innovation. It does this by providing:

@chamath Calling it “super intelligence” because a racist felon octogenarian that doesn’t know how to work a laptop told you to should be an overwhelming embarrassment for you.

Jeffries Smeared the American Men Who Signed

Hakeem Jeffries spent September demanding that Congress slow Super Intelligence before a bill was even in front of the House. A forced American slowdown is the outcome Beijing and Moscow would choose for us. Inferior American Super itizens who depend on it, left under superior Chinese and Russian systems: that is the result if Democrats get their way, and it exposes them as China’s and Russia’s allies against their own country. Since the September 29 signing, he has advanced a sharper charge: the men who signed the White House Accord on Super Intelligence cannot be trusted to watch their own machines. The charge does not hold. The alarm is the point.

The seven are Donald Trump, Sundar Pichai, Dario Amodei, Mark Zuckerberg, Greg Brockman, Elon Musk, and Jensen Huang. All are American citizens. Four were born here. All are billionaires whose fortunes sit inside the companies that train the models, build the chips, and run the platforms. Musk is the only person alive who has crossed a trillion and come back. These are not hired critics. They are the principals, with their own money and their own names on the risk.

They signed four layers: internal controls on alignment and capabilities, an internal team to verify them, independent external auditors, and a board committee that must receive the reports and fix what they find. Trump called it morally binding. The signers are to meet and set the standards themselves. No moratorium. No new priesthood of regulators. No slowdown handed to Beijing.

Jeffries’s answer, the day after, was that a voluntary agreement is “entirely unenforceable” and that letting the industry police itself is “not the right response” in the face of “grave harm.” He has called the moment an “AI safety crisis, not a hoax,” and the House leaving town the “height of irresponsibility.” He is not challenging an audit. He is treating this American team as the danger, and his caucus as the only hands fit to hold the remedy.

The men who signed are the answer to that charge. Pichai runs Google. Amodei runs Anthropic, and signed even after demanding a slower frontier. Zuckerberg wrote the accord and circulated it. Brockman signed for OpenAI because Altman was elsewhere. Huang builds the chips the models cannot run without. Musk builds the models and the rockets. Trump put them in one room and took the signatures. Jeffries has named no rival with comparable capital, compute, or liability.

A responsible critic would not have implied that the seven Americans who signed are the threat and a Democratic House the cure. He did. Ignorance presented as vigilance, arrogance presented as oversight, deception presented as concern. That is the posture the Democratic leader in the House is paid to strike.

@chamath “Super” comes from Latin, meaning “over or above”. It freaks me out me that you don’t see the irony of debating whether AI should be deemed a deity, while calling it “super” intelligence. Be better.

@chamath KYSI is an interesting name for this.

Keeping a clear record of what an AI system actually did will get harder as agents take on more enterprise work.

i wonder what form this product takes - is it an agent that sits inside all the SI enabled stack of the company?

*also - Chamath, i respect your gangster but using ‘AI’ in that post repeatedly while announcing a kySI product (plus you were at the literal renaming dinner!) is just a tad funny 😅

@chamath KYC的教训是:清单式合规管得住流程,管不住动机。KYSI的可审计证据包解决的是出事之后怎么追责,不是部署之前怎么刹车。协议要的是治理,企业要的是免责——这两件事从来不在同一页纸上。
