Cega’s original vision was to build the next evolution in DeFi derivatives. Today, we are excited to announce that we’ve been acquired by a leading platform to continue driving this vision forward. Our team is immensely proud to have been the first to bring exotic options to DeFi, to have processed half a billion in volume, and to safely protect user funds for 3 years.

With the acquisition, Cega will be sunsetting our product suite through EOY. All user funds remain safe. New deposits will not be accepted into Cega products after this Wednesday 11/27 at 2pm UTC. All existing queued deposits will be processed as normal.

All current users should start queuing withdrawals in-app (processed upon trade expiry). Any vault funds that roll-over after 11/27 will not be traded for compounding yield. Withdrawal operations will continue to run normally and there will be no impact to users’ ability to withdraw. If you have any questions, we’re here to assist in Discord.
