Elon Musk has just confirmed that Starlink remains critical to Ukraine’s defense, but it is a civilian commercial service and should not be used for offensive drone strikes to kill people.
SpaceX closed a loophole enabling those strikes last week. Starshield is a separate system vernment.
Starlink was crucial in the early days of the war and remains essential to Ukraine’s front line.
“SpaceX has done more to defend Ukraine than any private company on Earth BY FAR.”
Elon helped keep Ukraine connected in its darkest hours. That is an extraordinary contribution, and he deserves enormous respect and gratitude for it. Standing by his principles while pushing for an end to the killing shows real courage and leadership.
