Reminder: Earlier this month, the Trump administration suspended Microsoft and a handful of other firms t Labor Certification Program, or PERM, which lets companies sponsor foreign workers for green cards.
At the time, Vice President JD Vance accused the tech giant of laying off thousands of American workers while bringing in foreign workers to replace them through the H-1B visa system: "There has been no company in the US, unfortunately, that has abused the system more than Microsoft."
