@KorothArjun @TheSumit97 @karthickPNKV @jaimani And other things like:
postmarketOS, Ubuntu Touch, Mobile NixOS, openSUSE, kupfer (based on Arch), Mobian, Droidian and potentially many more...
sxmo on postmarketOS. Visible upper-left: neofetch showing that the Pocophone F1 with Tianma panel is e.g. running Linux kernel 6.9.0. Visible upper-right: meme »Anon, you're still being made a "used" by operating system in date +%Y? Install the free software, anon. Haven't you heard it's the yar of the GNU/Linux (sometimes w/o GNU) phone.« Middle: Schildichat in the background with its chat visible on the right side displaying a table comparing other phones to the Pocophone F1: »v Other phones: You shouldn't use 'em | Oh, I just wasted yet another [high sum] on something I will replace in a few years. — Environmental nuisance. | Nothing you need, with crap down to the knees. Pocophone F1: - Always newest Android; multiple ROMs - Mainline postmarketOS, Ubuntu Touch, Mobial, openSUSE, Mobile NixOS, ??? - Windows on ARM | Picture of Pocophon F1 presentation which also displays the sentence »Everything you need, nothing you don't«. Left over Schildichat: Jai's first Tweet. 1/22/2 (continuation of image description since both are similar:) Below the Schildichat window: Waydroid with browser at https://media.ccc.de/v/camp2023-57129-the_nix_phone_and_the_end_of_android at 3:44 where the quote »If we can push for USB C, we can push for open bootloaders« is visible. And below all of that is a virtual keyboard. The difference between this and the previous image: In this image is a sxmo config window in the of the window visible. Also a »Screenshot taken« notification is visible in the upper-right corner overlaying the meme — that got output via img2sixel in the foot terminal btw — partially. Also this time phone is not connected to power and thus not charging. And there is an indicator that the display is locked and not recognizing touch events until unlocked.

@bonusi2 @2147483647tatsu @luciascarlet @jonsneyers WebP could be useful for coffee machines etc. 32-bit microcontroller use. As a format I don't see a need for WebP for general purpose internet use.

@bonusi2 @2147483647tatsu @luciascarlet @jonsneyers I designed WebP lossless and managed the JPEG XL during it's development. For larger test corpora JPEG XL is superior in density. JPEG XL lossless is a superset of WebP lossless and any encoder wins for WebP lossless can be countered later.

By the way, there is an issue that you can star to hopefully get support for JXL in Chromium (Chrome, Edge, Opera, etc.)

@clairem_sl It is marked wontfix but with a comment to be re-evaluated when leadership agrees.

I'm hoping JPEG XL to be re-evaluated by leadership at somewhere around 3000 to 10000 stars ⭐.

Now at 1044 stars.

@bonusi2 I saved it to Photos and there's no file type indicator like with other images 😭

I'm guessing it's a JXL though as it's TINY (117 bytes???? WHAT THE FUCK??????)

So yeah, from now on I will make sure to get every link to Twitter automatically replaced with a link to a privacy frontend in some communities with thousands of members each. Should have done that earlier.

PS: I do have Mastodon but under a different name and I don't want Twitter to be connected with any other SNS account I have. If you have Mastodon, I will eventually follow you there.
But I'm not more active over there since I barely use social networks in general. I chat instead

Since a few months I get a bunch of scam messages on Twitter. All of them in Japanese. Well, I do follow many Japanese but it's quite interesting. Especially considering that I never got messages like that before on Twitter while I get that scam on other platforms every few weeks
