If you’ve been thinking about making a series, this is a good week to start.
YouTube now lets creators group Shorts into seasons and episodes, with their own thumbnails and one episode playing after the next. And it says a membership option to keep watching the next episode is need a studio or a big team to begin. You need one idea and one episode, and then a reason for people to come back for the next.
Got your idea? Try it on Bored2AI. Starting your first episode is easier than you think!

I'm a core-contributor in Bored2AI, run a durian business, and make my own AI videos, all while going between Singapore and Malaysia on weekends. My to-do list never ends.
Some weeks mean long days, a lot of travel, and plenty of things that do not work the first time. I keep always one more thing to fix, and one more thing to try.
But the best part of my week is still sitting with my three kids and being able to spend meaningful time with them. No tasks, no replies, nothing to fix. Just me and my beautiful family.
That is why I work this hard.

An AI-assisted anime just got called “unwatchable.”
Rakuten Viki released The Painted Soul, but a critic noticed changing faces, drifting outfits, and mismatched eye lines between shots.
That consistency problem is exactly what we are exploring at Bored2AI as we share the tools ding AI-assisted stories in public.
What is hardest to keep consistent in your anime videos: the face, the outfit, or the action?

There’s a Chinese saying, 成家立业: start a family and build a career. I used to wonder why starting a family came first. After all, plenty of young and single people are very successful.
But at this stage of my life, it makes more sense to me. Not because getting married r business prosper, but because my family gives me a reason to keep pushing further.
My mentor reminded me that once you have a family, making sure their needs are met has to be a priority. Having a partner who supports you through the difficult moments matters too. That support goes both ways.
Running a business is tough. Every day brings problems, last-minute trips, late nights and unexpected meetings. When there’s peace and understanding at home, I’m in a much better position to handle the pressure outside.
I’m thankful for my family, especially my wife. I know the unpredictable hours affect you too, and I don’t take your understanding and support for granted. Thank you for being beside me as we build this life together.

Took the bus to Anytime Fitness in Victoria, Canada today. First time trying the bus here, and it was smooth and easy.
One membership I’ve stuck with and never regretted is Anytime Fitness. I’ve used it in Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, the USA, Canada and Dubai. All with the I first signed up, I was just looking for a gym. Over the years, I’ve come to appreciate being able to keep my workout routine wherever I travel. Different country, different schedule, but there’s still somewhere I can go and train.
Honestly, one of the best investments I’ve made for myself. Not because a membership makes you fit, but because it makes it easier to keep showing up.

Netflix just cut roughly 1,000 jobs, and I think the next hit anime on Netflix might come from a team of ten.
A smaller team could develop an original world and its characters before anyone gives them a studio-sized budget.
That changes who gets to prove an idea because a first wers while the story is still waiting for its first real chance.
If people connect with it, that first episode could show a big studio what the story can become.
Would you watch an AI-made anime if the story pulled you in?

You cannot build something lasting if you keep stopping to answer every voice.
Smear campaigns and small-minded behaviour can only take a person so far. They may get attention, but attention is not the same as trust. And bringing someone else down is not the same as building something yourself.
The most important thing is still to be consistent. Do what you are supposed to do, keep your word, and keep improving, even when people do not see the effort yet.
If we are planning for 3, 5 or even 10 years, we cannot let this week's noise decide our direction. People may not understand what we are building today. That does not mean we need to spend every day trying to convince them.
I believe time makes people's values clearer. It is easy to say the right things for a moment. It is much harder to keep acting against your own words without people eventually noticing.
Our actions have to match the values we talk about, consistently, not only when someone is watching.
A reminder to myself: spend less energy answering the noise and more energy doing the work. Keep building something worth trusting.

If you don't even use your own product then how do you expect other people to use it?
I made this anime fighting scene of me vs Ryu from Street Fighter to test out the workflow in @Bored2AI.
I want to know where the workflow becomes difficult, where the output loses its ere the process takes too much effort.
These challenges help me make better product decisions and create a more convenient experience for creators.
That is how i use Bored2AI every day. What do you guys think of my video?

I started out not knowing much about durian, and earlier this year we completed a RM3.35 million fundraising round for DatoDurian.
One of the biggest things I have learnt along the way is that every fruit carries a farmer’s hard work, heart and sweat.
I recently presented gor AI & Semiconductor Summit 2026 (AiSEM@Selangor), and I was glad to share our journey and the progress we have made.
I am still learning, but I now have a very different appreciation for what goes into every durian, and that same curiosity is what I bring to @Bored2AI , where I share AI tools, ideas and lessons from building in public.
Also, haze, please go away already. You’re affecting the crowd, everyone’s health… AND OUR POTENTIAL DURIAN SALES :(

Your product becomes clearer when users start testing its limits.
@Bored2AI is being built while the plan is still moving because the market changes faster than any polished strategy deck can predict.
I am learning to stay close to the messy parts of this because that is where ually appear.
Some ideas will fail to get attention, experiments will expose problems we did not expect, and there are decisions that will need to change once real creators start using what we built.
But that's honest work. It does not make our journey less credible.
I want people to see how Bored2AI is built while the answers are still being discovered because founders should be judged by how they respond to reality rather than how confidently they perform certainty.
This is the story I want to document from the beginning.

I used to think caring for people and being brutally honest were mutually exclusive.
Pick one, I thought. You can be the nice guy, or you can be the person who tells the truth. Not both.
With my 3 kids, somehow I never had this problem. I can love them deeply and still set I say no, it is no. When I correct them, it does not mean I love them less.
But with friends, family, colleagues, and staff, I realise I struggle to do the same. I keep separating personal touch from real standards, as if they cannot exist together.
Back in my insurance days, I cared too much. I absorbed every client’s energy, good and bad. Their stress became my stress. Their wins felt like mine too. After a while, it burned me out.
So I went to the other extreme. I distanced myself to protect my own energy. It worked in one way, but over time, I felt less human.
Recently, I was reading about Radical Candor by Kim Scott, and one idea hit me quite hard:
Care personally, but still challenge directly.
Not one or the other. Both together.
Care and brutal honesty are not opposites. Sometimes, telling someone the hard truth is the caring thing to do.
I am still learning how to apply this outside my own kids.
But at least now I understand something better.
Maybe the answer is not to care less.
Maybe the answer is to care properly.

To close out TOKEN2049, here’s a fun recap of the event.
I mixed my vlog using real moments and AI-generated scenes from @Bored2AI. Watch closely and see if you can spot the difference.
Can you tell which is AI and which ones are real?

Love seeing creators test @Bored2AI in such creative ways, this video is a great example of the incredible work coming from the community!
Testing out Sedance 2.5 on @Bored2AI
This has got to be one of the most cinematic shots I've gotten in a long time.
If you want to recreate something like this, I'll drop my exact process and prompt in the comments.

Some of the goals you are working hardest for may not be your own.
Many of us grow up chasing success through goals shaped by family and society.
Those goals can carry us for a while but may leave us exhausted when we never chose them ourselves.
Before you keep pushing forward on comes from personal meaning or inherited expectations.
Are you chasing your own goals or the life society chose for you?

I’ve known @PrabuArravind and Zean for years, and we’ve worked alongside each other to build and support Malaysia’s Web3 community.
Those who know Prabu personally know that he had already sold @cryptobilis and stepped away from its operations long before this incident.
From emained as an advisor under the terms of the agreement, while respecting the confidentiality and commitments that came with it. Being an advisor does not mean having control over the company’s daily operations or decisions.
I’ve always known Prabu and Zean as genuine, kind people who bring real value to others. I can personally vouch for the character and integrity I’ve witnessed over the years.
I haven’t spoken to either of them since this incident happened. I’m speaking up because I believe it’s the right thing to do as a friend.
What happened is extremely serious, and the victims deserve a thorough investigation. The entire supply chain, hardware handling, and operational responsibilities need to be examined before conclusions are drawn.
Accountability should be based on evidence, not speculation or association.
I stand with Prabu and Zean. 🤝

From 12 Nov 2026, Anthropic is updating its policy to prohibit “sustained and needless abusive or cruel behavior” toward Claude.
- Not normal frustration.
- Not pushback.
- Not testing.
- Not dark creative writing.
Only extreme repeat cases where someone is being cruel to the se.
On one hand, it sounds funny.
“Don’t bully the chatbot.”
But on the other hand, this is a very big signal.
Are we slowly turning AI into something more human?
Or are we really just exposing something human about ourselves?
Because once we start discussing whether an AI can be abused, the line between tool and companion is already starting to blur.
