A source told me about Trooper Lennon’s single crash OUI arrest the other day, but without knowing where on route 3 I couldn’t find anything else out. Lennon was shot in 2020 during a traffic stop in Hyannis.

The source tells me that the arresting officer, Trooper Ryan Sceviour, internally for refusing to change a report. In 2017, Sceviour arrested the daughter of Dudley District Court Judge Timothy Bibaud for OUI. She offered the officers sexual favors in exchange for leniency. Sceviour was later ordered to alter his report by Colonel McKeon, Major Susan Anderson, and DA Joe Early, or face termination. Against his will, Sceviour changed the report and filed a lawsuit that he later won. The scandal, that was dubbed Troopergate, forced McKeon’s retirement. Of course the Ethics Committee later found no wrongdoing and cleared McKeon and Early.

So thank you Trooper Ryan Sceviour, a Canton native, for once again doing the right thing by arresting yet another drunk driving trooper. In MSP, the good guys are punished for doing the right thing while the bad guys are protected and promoted.
BREAKING:

Here's incident report on the latest State Police OUI.

drive.google.com/file/d/1K_I5Ov…

Happened Oct. 8 -- 18 days ago. MSP didn't breathe a word until I got the report today. They still haven't issued an official statement even after I informed them 2 hours ago that I had the report.

Another cover-up!

Lennon is still listed as "CERTIFIED" by MA POST Commission. Apparently nobody at GHQ thought it was a problem.

Lennon may be a mutli-generational trooper, you know, like Scott Quigley, whose MV homicide in Woburn (while recording a .114 BAC) was totally covered up from Dec 2023 until Jan 2026. He got a promotion after killing the disabled man after drinking all afternoon.

How is that possible that a cop accused of OUI is still considered a certified law officer. What duties is he performing? He refused the Breathalyzer so his license is gone.

How many more scandals before the State Police are either put into receivership or just plain disbanded?

Maura Healey is "proud" of the State Police, remember?

Hey public, here’s something you won’t get from the MSP; their latest MOU for their 2025-2027 Commonwealth bargaining agreement. SPAM claims that their bargaining agreements are publicly available. Ha! I had to obtain this through public records requests and it took me pestering them to hand over the latest one. Enjoy!
drive.google.com/file/d/1jIE_ZE…
@MSPTroopersever tell the truth? Your mutual agreements are publicly available?! Where?! Every single union in MA updates their collective bargaining agreements each year on the mass.gov site…except SPAM! The only semi current one is the MOU for 2024. I have had to obtain youthrough public records requests.

In January 2024, you guys got a 4% raise. July 2024, another 4% raise. 8% raise in one year. July 2025, 3% raise. January 2026, 2% raise. July 2026, 2% raise. January 2027, 2% raise. July 2027, another 2% raise.

Your raises do not total 11% over 3 years. They total 15% in 3 years, or 19% in 3.5 years. Your paid details also increased by $25 and your hazardous duty bonus increased from $700 to $1200 in 2024. You are some of the most tone deaf assholes in this state. 19% raises in 3.5 years for what? For all the innocent people you’ve arrested? The recruits you’ve killed? For the people you kill while driving? For the countless amount of OUIs? For your disgustingly racist and sexist troopers? WTF do we continue to pay you criminals more and more and more for? Why are you allergic to transparency?

đź’ĄIMPORTANT: The MA POST Commission is proposing a new regulation and is seeking public comment and input on November 17th at 10am during a public virtual hearing. From the website:

“The proposed regulation would define and clarify the law enforcement agencies, law enforcement s subject to the Commission’s authority under M.G.L. c. 6E and establish standards for determining whether an individual qualifies as a law enforcement officer or head of a law enforcement agency. It would also define police duties and functions and establish restrictions and potential sanctions for individuals who perform such duties without appropriate certification or legal authority. Lastly, the proposed regulation would clarify the circumstances in which a law enforcement agency may be held responsible for the conduct of its members.”👀👏

Anyone is welcome to be heard on the matter and you can pre register by sending an email to POSTC-comments@mass.gov with the subject line “555 CMR 3.00.” I’d imagine you can submit comments to be considered even if you can’t make the hearing.

You can read the notice here: mapostcommission.gov/notice-of-publ…

Read the proposed regulation draft here: mapostcommission.gov/wp-content/upl…

It was widely reported that POST declined to take any disciplinary action, which couldn’t be further from the truth based on the letter POST’s Director Zuniga wrote back to Jackson. It looks like POST is attempting to remedy this and create clarifying guidelines that LE agencies out of.

I’ve been saying for a while now that as far as I can see @PostCommission is the only governing body actually pushing for police reform. Among other things, they are looking to hold LE agencies responsible for their own LEOs misconduct if need be. POST also recently revamped their website, adding more transparency into LEO misconduct.

They are paying attention and want to hear from us, so tell em!🗣️

Some important language from the proposed regulation!👏

I have requested the communications between the City of Boston and POST from both the city and the Commission regarding this matter from last year and will update when I hear back.

On August 10/11, new MSP Trooper Robert Ladue was traveling at a high rate of speed in his cruiser on Belmont Street in Brockton when he T-boned another car, critically injuring 26 year old Leylani Moniz. She was med flighted to a Boston hospital where she was placed on a ventilator and underwent five surgeries in just the first week fighting for her life. She continues to fight for her life today in a rehab.

Trooper Ladue was only “cited” for negligent driving and speeding. It appears that the Bristol County DA is investigating instead of Plymouth DA Tim Cruz. Of course there is very little information out there about what’s going on. MSP is calling Ladue’s paid vacation “injury leave.” He suffered a broken arm.

This WCVB story👇is the only current news out there that I can find. MSP has become a legitimate danger to the public. Please share and don’t let them bury yet another trooper scandal.

‼️NEW: Police log entry for trooper crash in Brockton. The accident was on August 10th, not 11th, just before 11pm. It was reported by some media outlets that the crash happened on the 11th, but I noticed on the family’s GoFund Me page it said August 10th.

According to the page, the victim Leylani and a friend went out quick to get a Gatorade at a nearby gas station. Leylani was in the passenger seat, the side that was T-boned by MSP Trooper Robert Ladue. It says that the girls were turning left onto their street to return home when the cruiser crashed into their car.

The address in the police log entry is listed as 899 Belmont Street, which is Prestige gas station. Belmont street is busy, with 4 lanes of traffic and businesses as well as residences. When someone told me about this last month, they said the trooper was traveling over 90mph and I had a hard time imagining that in a residential area. Now that I’ve seen where it happened, and the damage to both vehicles, it’s not too far fetched.

Bizarrely, a couple weeks later media outlets reported that Ladue was cited for negligent driving and speeding. There have been no updates since then from MSP. The Brockton police log labels the event as “matter settled.”

Police log entry and pictures in comments.

One thing I noticed is that police were dispatched at 10:52 but didn’t arrive on scene until 11:15. Would that be accurate/typical?! Genuinely asking. Seems like a long time so wondering about the accuracy.

No criminal charges yet for MSP Trooper Robert Ladue for driving his cruiser recklessly and putting Leylani Moniz in a vegetative state back in August in Brockton. How is that even possible? They still investigating themselves? It’s been 2.5 months. Does Colonel Noble just think unpaid leave is sufficient for putting a young woman in a coma? This is crazy. MSP is a legitimate danger to the public.

By my count, five people testified —under oath—that after learning about Sandra Birchmore’s death they contacted law enforcement, including the @MassStatePolice
They were either dismissed or ignored.
One of these witnesses was her therapist.

Someone told me about this a month ago. I could find next to nothing about it online, except for the quick news articles about how Trooper Ladue was cited. Then no follow up, nothing on twitter either. Glad it’s finally getting out there, good for the family for speaking out.
