It came as little surprise when the @CleGuardians prospect was selected to this weekend's Fall Stars Game: atmlb.com/48xV3XP

Matthew Wood was the only Brewers prospect in 2026 to hit at least 15 HR while keeping his K% under 15%. It was a career year for the Penn State product, recording a 134 wRC+ in a full season in Double-A.
A selective hitter, Wood showed a well-rounded profile this year. His BB 96th percentile. His whiff avoidance and plate discipline was on full display, and his ability to lift the ball was just as good.

108 90th EV, 90% in-zone contact, and a very high rate of pullside loft. A whole package offensively.
Stands firm at No. 53 on our new '27 board drop👇
