So these spacex shares are worth somewhere between $5 and $25 each and people are going to pay $135 for them

You have to admire the grift.

Tech is undervalued?
Unlike the dot-com bubble, when global technology stocks surged far ahead of earnings, the current rally has been supported by stronger earnings growth.

Icahnt.
Icahn's legacy has been damaged.

The irony is that he spent decades arguing that companies should unlock value for shareholders.

No hotel has ever asked a guest to strip the beds, wash the dishes, and take out the trash.

Not once.
its just bonkers the new policy @Airbnb is trying to put in place. Putting the dishes in the dishwasher, taking out the trash, pulling the sheets off the bed....they are just standard things any normal person would do when staying at a house. Why wouldn't a host be allowed to say that?

As a reminder: these people are not your friends. Never have been, never will be.
Palestinian women and children hold an Islamic Jihad rally in support of Osama Bin Laden in Gaza City as men fight from homes in Bethlehem.

Today Israeli tanks and troops moved into Bethlehem to quell the intifada insurgency, causing a sixth day of fighting and protests against the west.

All my friends tell me I walk too fast. I have things to do.
As an aside, IQ strongly correlates with walking speed.

The correlation is, like, extremely significant. There are essentially zero outliers.

Top quintile walkers are a full standard deviation smarter than bottom quintile walkers.
Community note
A 2019 Dunedin study reports moderate correlation (β=0.38) between midlife IQ and gait speed with ~16-point mean quintile difference. "Essentially zero outliers" does not match this association's strength.

My health insurance put me in the 40-47 age bracket this year.

I’m 37.

Thankfully, therapy is covered for my mid-life crisis.

More combinations than the number of atoms in the universe and your H1B chose number 4.
Imagine trying to brute force 1 out of 394,020,061,963,944,792,122,790,401,001,436,138,050,797,392,704,654,466,679,482,934,042,457,217,714,972,106,114,142,662,548,849,156,408,066,279,903,068,160 possible values and getting it on the 5th try.

I love these charts because the definitively prove that Mr Market has no idea how to price bonds.
A hawkish deputy RBA Gov Hauser notes:
"The inflation outlook looks materially worse than we projected in the August report..."

"...inflation's been high for a very long time now"

"people in the community are not sure if we're going to bring inflation back into target at all." central bank that thinks it can raise rates once in September and be confident all its work is done.

This chart shows the key risk to the AI trade, and it's missing from the latest revenue announcements.

The AI boom is fundamentally driven by a top 1% of companies that drive 80% of spend. Within that top 1%, 80% are venture-backed.

That's all fine if the AI trade works out, nt investors say, everyone wins.

But if it doesn't work out, then we have a cascading effect of large customers simultaneously pulling back their AI spend.

“Ride-share” would be inappropriate.
Do you “rent” a prostitute like you rent a vehicle, or do you “hire” one like you would a cab?
