Should the Council leadership fail to support the call for a Committee structure, we will initiate the
referendum petition. Your reply would be appreciated by 31st October 2024.

In the follow up to our communication of 1st October 2024, CAST wish to reiterate the request for a return to the Committee system of decision-making at South Tyneside Council in place of the present Leader and Cabinet format.
