@DomAdlerUK When a British gentleman says “I feel it’s only sporting…” check your math. Then check your assumptions. And then check your life insurance policy.

@DomAdlerUKm@branwen41677029all wimps. I went along with an alumnus of Imperial College to a senior common room darts match against some rough lads from Fulham who started cheating in the hope of starting a fight. If a fight had ensued they would all have been incapacitated in seconds. My mate’s dad was the unarmed combat instructor at Sandhurst.

My friend's dad accidentally became the most popular person in his apartment building because he didn't understand the group chat.
Someone posted, “Does anybody have a ladder?”
He replied, “Yes.”
Then nothing.
The person eventually knocked on his door, borrowed the ladder, and returned it.
A few days later, somebody asked if anyone could help carry a sofa upstairs.
He replied, “Yes.”
He helped.
Then someone needed a ride to the hardware store.
“Yes.”
For about two months, this retired man responded to nearly every request with the same single word.
His daughter finally explained that he wasn't obligated to help everybody.
He looked offended.
“I know that.”
“Then why do you keep saying yes?”
He shrugged.
“People keep needing things I can do.”
Last month, the building organized a little birthday party for him in the lobby.
He showed up carrying extra folding chairs because he thought somebody might need them.

Restore Britain is an unashamedly pro-shooting party.
It is a vital part of rural Britain, helping supply British game to local butchers, restaurants, pubs and households.
It supports gamekeepers, farmers, rural businesses, food processors, hospitality jobs and more. It pumps millions and millions into parts of rural Britain that are entirely forgotten by Westminster - very often at times of the year when otherwise local businesses would perish.
We want to see more British game on dinner tables, at home but also across the public sector. Let’s serve more game in our schools, hospitals and other public sector institutions.
Why not? Rather than importing cheap meat from the other side of the planet.
Use what we have here.
A Restore Britain Government will proudly celebrate the food produced in our countryside and the people whose livelihoods depend on it. Something urban MPs, the vast majority of them, will never understand.
Restore Britain supports responsible shooting.

A Betfair punter has won nearly £1 million after a £4 accumulator bet on the number of corners in English football matches came off in extraordinary fashion on Saturday.
The 45-year-old man, who was not named but is from Portsmouth, defied the astonishing odds of 249,345-1 to win big on this weekend's English Football League matches when a 12-fold accumulator netted him a return of £997,385.
The punter bet just £4 that 12 matches on Saturday would have over 11.5 corners each and his accumulator delivered a mammoth payout, with the winner only becoming aware of his success after the final whistles had blown.
The winning 12-fold accumulator
To have more than 11.5 corners:
Oxford Utd v Bradford – 5-4 (14 corners) Reading v Barnsley – 7-5 (13 corners) Stevenage v MK Dons – 3-1 (16 corners) Doncaster v Sheff Wed – 7-4 (14 corners) Cambridge Utd v Plymouth – 31-20 (16 corners) AFC Wimbledon v Wycombe – 8-5 (12 corners) Notts Co v Stockport – 23-10 (13 corners) Burton Albion v Leyton Orient – 14-5 (13 corners) Bromley v Peterborough – 7-5 (15 corners) Preston v West Brom – 31-20 (15 corners) QPR v Swansea – 2-1 (14 corners) Blackpool v Mansfield – 7-4 (13 corners)

@RupertLowe10 This you?
@AdnanHussainMP No. We slaughter animals in a way that doesn't cause cruel and barbaric suffering, leaving an animal to die in the most unimaginable pain.
How's that?
