I did a quick benchmark, Argent is 2x faster at least, with 3x faster in many cases.
Maestro is slow, for example, scrollUntilVisible is so toxic in Maestro, I know you have to detect something, but being slow and still not being able to detect the reveal of an element is a 2e test framework.
Not to mention with Argent, it basically one tool to do two jobs:
- device control
- e2e
It is also backed by @swmansion , which makes it trustworthy.
Still doing experiments, but really promising ATM.
