So many startup founders struggle to stay together - ego, clashing visiget in the way.
I’ve been so blessed to work with these two amazing founders, and together navigate through so many ups and downs - personally and professionally - to stay focused on Uplifting the Ummah.
We started as young, bright-eyed Muslims who simply saw an amazing community that was underserved. We had no idea the challenges we’d face, nor the incredible impact we’d have. We didn’t even have children!
Now we’re all spouses, parents, and - I pray - model business leaders.
What’s most exciting: it feels like we’ve just started, our greatest adventures still lay ahead

It’s such an example for Muslims in the west, , to learn from and be inspired by
One small example: the Dutch who enslaved them and brought them over tried to stop them from practicing Islam. So the Muslims learned to hide their Dhikr (Ratib of Imam Al-Haddad) by reciting it in the style of a church hymn, which they continue to do until today

Oh this resonates: “AI Foam” - smart people using AI instead of their own judgement and you can tell it’s fluff
What I dislike more than AI Slop is what I call "AI Foam".
It's when generally smart, insightful people send you something that is clearly AI generated and lacks their usual sharp insight or point of view.
AI slop is easy to ignore because it's often just random people posting random stuff online -- often as content or comments.
AI foam is more insidious because these are people you *know* and respect and you know they're capable of critical thinking and clear communication.
I call it AI Foam because it lacks shape and substance.

My college dorm project just broke the world speed record.
Reaper hit 790 km/h (491 mph) carrying a 1.2 kg (2.6 lb) payload.
These 3 Reapers are now the world’s fastest small jet-powered drones.
Each of them can hold that speed for 4 minutes on a full tank.
Reaper can be , climb to 2,000 m (6,600 ft) in under 20 seconds, then fly for 50 km (31 mi) at full speed.
This is now a reliable and repeatable system. Future testing and small optimizations should push the top speed past 800 km/h (500 mph).

I’m so locked into this discussion - and it’s interesting because I have two companies at very different stages to consider: LaunchGood as a mature company, with 100+ teammates and shifting the way we work; and PayGood a new AI-first company with tiny team
Replit's Amjad Masad with Gagan Biyani on how agents will reshape the way companies work: bureaucracy runs in the background, people get true autonomy, and eventually the company runs itself.
Amjad: "In Silicon Valley there's been so many experiments to try to change the nature ies work... But I think it was a technology problem."
"Now you can have agents kind of function as the glue within these organizations and have the bureaucracy be this invisible thing that's happening by machines in the background, and the people have true autonomy to work on the things that they find most interesting."
"I see it in our company where I've changed how I run the company, and we call it this idea of a self-driving company. Eventually the company will run itself."
Gagan: "The thing I feel very certain about is it's all gonna change. It's gonna change a lot faster than you think. And if you're not natively understanding of it, it's gonna be hard to make that shift."
Amjad: "If you're learning the ways of the past, then you're kind of locked into a way of thinking and a way of working that actually will put you at a fundamental disadvantage in the future."
