Todd Blanche continues to cover up for child predators in one of his shadiest moves since becoming AG.
A federal judge ordered the DOJ to unredact the Epstein files. Blanche appealed to keep them sealed. The judge warned him contempt was coming...he appealed anyway.
What's in these files?
Emails about a torture video.
Discussions of s*xual activity with m*nors.
And testimony from a woman who says Donald Trump abused her when she was a child.
Congress passed a bipartisan law to release these documents, the Epstein Files Transparency Act.
So, essentially Todd Blanche is using our tax dollars to fight that law in court.
His argument? Victim privacy. We know that is BS and the judge knows that is BS because he already rejected it. You don't risk contempt of court over contact information, especially with most of it already having been released unredacted.
The midterms are 65 days away. That's what this is about. The D.C. Circuit moves slow, and Blanche is betting it moves slow enough that you never see these documents before you vote.
The attorney general of the United States is covering for the president of the United States, and he's doing it in a case about child sex trafficking. That's sure what it looks like anyway.
