We are working on making diffs faster! (Please read the blog, the implement is insane, 包含中文翻译)
Today we're launching an exciting new project: Highlights
Highlights is a syntax highlighter that outputs HTML. It improves on both speed and correctness compared to the existing industry standard libraries.
It's an optional drop-in replacement in Diffs, and it's ready to use ready powering diffshub․com!
Check it out at diffs.com/highlights
OR `pnpm install @pierre/highlights`

IMO the biggest mistake you can make nowadays with AI is to stop being curious. AI finds an issue and fixes it, sometimes better than you but sometimes, if you take the time to understand the problem, you will want to try other solutions, give other perspectives to the agent and go further and you might end up with a better version of it or learned something along the way.
I think there has never been a better time to be curious, because with AI you can explore and research ideas in minutes. You are able to go deeper in your understanding and learn more about any topic you want, even the ones where you lack the foundational knowledge, because you get such a personalized approach to learning.
Keep asking whys and what ifs, don't stop at the first solution you get and keep learning because that increases your chances of staying relevant

Looking forward to it!
Built on @_chenglou's handwired, I turned shiki's JS syntax highlighter into a neural network that runs on the GPU.
Output is identical to shiki's, token for token.
It's really early and a lot of optimization can be done, but it's already faster than shiki on large files!

Hey Japanese learners! I built a font that renders Furigana or Romaji above Kanji, with ligatures to support words. You can apply it anywhere to get furigana notations for free.
Give it a try, and I hope it will be helpful :)

@birch_js @antfu7 @ssssotaro heard @antfu7 is training furifont v2 on colossus as we speak 🙈
1M-glyph context window for ligature resolution - and support for streaming ruby-inference, so time to first furigana is decent even when you're far from the gpu cluster

and this is what it looks like on Twitter
There are still quite a few inaccuracies due to font limitations, will keep working on improving them 💦

Introduce @antfu/skills
It works just like @antfu/eslint-config, an opinionated pack of skills curated from the ecosystem.
Instead of vendoring skills, you get a package-manager-like experience: install packs with their skill deps.

This is powered by github.com/antfu/skills-n…, which allows npm packages to ship skills, or declare their "skill dependencies", so you can create shared packs/presets with your team or the community.
We are working with the skills-cli team to have this builtin.
