Yo that’s cool af.
Purdue University's IDEAS Lab built an autonomous drone that tracks runners through dense forests completely without GPS or cloud networks.
By running 3D LiDAR mapping and obstacle-avoidance AI entirely on-chip, it can weave under tree canopies and predict target movement through blind spots in real time.
Massive implications for next-gen search & rescue and edge AI. x.com/tokufxug/statu…

live-tweeting on samsung findings were fun.
i'll let my agents give it a bit more time, but this document is already the most comprehensive breakdown of some key concerns of tizen i've seen run on a live device.
it takes like a good while for me just to scroll through it ups as of right now on individual functionality).
release is probably happening in a few days.

@theot@maria_rcks, and i keep reinstalling it every few weeks
but the fonts, the border radius, the icons, the font hierarchy - this is clearly the former designer in me, but i just can't
if you find a UI/UX designer, this could be *the* option with no competitors
recently started using capy, which i vibe with a lot. it's also bring-your-own-sub. and it's very clean. lots of stuff you can inspo from there no doubt

I’ve left Anthropic after more than a year of working on Claude Code and seeing it scale larger than I ever imagined.
I have really loved working at Ant and believe deeply in the mission, and most of all, the idea of a race to the top.
The idea that if we work hard and responsibly, we can raise the bar and inspire others to great outcomes. And if we all push each other to be better, things can be radically good. I will carry the spirit of this with me forever.
My colleagues at Anthropic are the most talented, thoughtful, competent, and earnest people I have ever met. I am glad they are at the wheel and trust them deeply.
To the community on X, thank you for everything. You’ve made this the most fun (and sometimes stressful) job I’ve ever had.
For me, it is time for a bit of a break before diving into something new.
If you want more excellent Claude Code content, you should follow @addyosmani , @lydiahallie, @_catwu, @ClaudeDevs and of course @bcherny who started it all.

I can see a future where basically everything is local and we just send encrypted prompts to share software.
a year ago, i decided that i didn't want to use SaaS products and/or be dependent on frontier labs
today, i am using my own handrolled version of notion, my own agent wrapper on top of hermes (swapped out to Qwen3.8 27B when my DGX Spark arrives) and my own transcription tool.

3% of “critical” software security bugs, in all of recorded history, have been found in the last month.
This is on pace to find another ~100,000 bugs this year alone, adding ~26% more vulnerabilities to the all time total
Do you realize how fucking insane that is?

use circles in octra to host private resources, apps, data, etc, there will be nothing to steal, and there is no such concept as exit nodes
🛑 Attackers hijacked over 300 Tor exit relays to intercept SSH connections and steal login passwords.
A researcher found 333 exits redirecting SSH traffic to 12 interception servers.
The Tor Project has since blocked the affected relays.
Here's how the attack worked: thehackernews.com/2026/10/attack…
