El-Sayed: "When you see the world from my vantage point, there are always a few small minded people who speak very loudly and claim to speak on behalf of everybody else. But they don't spend much time talking to everybody else because most everybody else sees them for who they st each other and they get louder and louder and louder."

It wasn't the sexual assault allegations.
It wasn't the coup attempt on January 6th.
It wasn't the racism.
It wasn't the transphobia.
It was the price of gas and groceries. As great as last night was, the sad reality is that Americans didn't care until it affected their wallets

i do think this is an example of how misandry can turn into misogyny. you center your feminism around hating men so much that you end up hating women when they do anything that you perceive as a "male thing". in this instance, sex
there's so much inner shame many lesbians experience as a result of their sexual desires and attraction for women when they are discovering their identity. so to say that that sexual attraction is basically unnatural and "male brained" is beyond disgusting

living in the uk is bleak for a lot of reasons but i'd say the major one is that at the moment we've got a huge upswing in racism combined with zero appealing political parties which means there's this sense of dread permeating everything.

Adding to this, a lot of leftists are chronically online and learned activism through the internet. Thats why they have the superiority attitude and purity contests with politics. It’s not based in actual policy work or community building.
Lowkey and I mean this as no shade whatsoever a lot of leftists gotta learn how to talk to people man. Like sometimes you just gotta meet the people where they are (only those truly acting in good faith) because I promise you calling folks idiots and shit aint gone-

Backsliding really quickly from "Dress however you please. Call yourself whatever you like" into the full-on return of Section 28 btw and people aren't really talking about it
I spoke to several parents who’d encountered this teacher as part of my recent Telegraph investigation. I think his photo may have done the rounds on X before.
He identified as ‘non-binary’, I'm told - and pupils were instructed to address him as 'Mx.' Parents said he ran a primary school pupils.
“We all call him the man in the dress,” one pupil told a mother.
I don’t think this is an appropriate way for a male primary school teacher to present himself at work.
And if parents have questions about what’s happening at their child’s school, they should feel able to ask them. The parents I spoke to were afraid to do even that.

Cyberpunk is literally supposed to be a doomer setting where the bourgeoisie won forever. They wiped out all birds so you have to buy their fake meat products, they make it so if you try to have a home garden your entire block looses the ability to get groceries.
My biggest problem with cyberpunk 2077 so far that isnt the fact its terrible at being a role playing game is that it lacks any socialist or communist movements. That will always be the flaw in western made media that critiques the flaws of capitalism. It will never actually

this is so cool. All political systems should have government policy announced by nervous men who are slightly apologetic about how what they're announcing isn't good enough
#OTD 1948. Harold Wilson emerges as a national figure as he announces his 'Bonfire of Controls' outlining how clothing rationing will be relaxed.
Rationing on suits, footwear, plastics and knitted bathing costumes abolished.
He admits that he “wishes” he could do more.
