Ordered an @FCBayern jersey for $157, and now it's stuck in customs because DHL wants another $122 for customs clearance and import fees.

@FCBayern we better win the Champions League this season to make this shit worth the money 😭

There's this new annoying botting tactic on X where people use AI bots to leave generic comments under relevant accounts' posts to promote their own account and get more visibility and followers.

This is a very smart move before the IPO. It makes their brand stack hard to compete with for other AI labs, and they can market themselves as "the good ai company"

-> The ai company that spun out of OpenAI over safety
-> The ai company that pushed back on the pentagon over mass surveieapons and lost 200M in the process
-> Now a public benefit fund aimed at AI job losses

On top of that, most people don't know but Sam pitched 5% of openai to the government in July, when they were restricted from fully launching GPT -5.6.

Trump had also said he regretted taking only 10% of Intel and not getting more.
We’re committing a portion of Anthropic’s shares to the Anthropic Public Benefit Fund, a new wholly owned entity dedicated entirely to the public benefit.

It will start off with 5% of our shares. For every 50% increase in the company’s value over a set baseline, we can contribute up to an extra 2%, subject to our board’s discretion.

In total, this means that roughly 20% of Anthropic’s shares are committed to the public good. Our co-founders have already pledged to donate 80% of their equity, and around half our employees are donating a portion of their equity as part of a donation matching program we’ve run since our founding.

In the post below, we share more details about our new fund.

I think we are going to enter a golden age in game development with ai coding.

For decades, the biggest constraint on game development has been the cost of building and maintaining a game.

There are so many games people have dreamed of making but never pursued because the make sense.

When the cost of building software drops, the number of ideas worth pursuing expands dramatically.

Of course, making a game is about much more than writing code. Game design, art direction, storytelling, and knowing what makes something fun still matter enormously.

AI won't automatically make everyone a great game developer.

But it will def give more people the ability to turn their ideas into actual products without needing a massive budget or a team of dozens.

And when you combine that with the creativity of people who've spent years dreaming about games they couldn't build, I think we're going to see some incredible things the same way we saw with vibe coding.

Can't wait to build my own COD.
The games we've long wanted, which didn't exist because they'd cost several times more to make than they'd earn back, will soon become possible. As will the games developers wanted to build, but couldn't with the resources available. It'll be a new golden age of gaming.

Sometimes companies try way too hard to innovate.

Literally ALL your customers want is better security, a good user experience, and fewer third-party, fourth-party, fifth-party leaks.

But no, you have to launch gimmicky shit every now and then while the fundamentals still need ng, it's good to see a company trying new things, but sometimes it feels like they're losing sight of what their customers actually want.
Your wealth is digital. The device you manage it with should be built for that.

Meet Ledger Atom™: the security of industry leading hardware, the convenience of your everyday apps, plus control over your AI tools, and a rapidly expanding platform of apps, all in one quantum ropose. You approve. Your Ledger signer enforces.

Is the Studio Display worth $2,000?

Due to import taxes in Indonesia, I might have to pay a couple hundred extra, bringing the total to around $2,500 for the nano-texture version with the height-adjustable stand.

There are other good options, but I hate using headphones or m, microphone, and speakers cluttering my desk which the Studio Display solves but I'm hesitant about the pricing.

pls drop some good recommendations and help a brother out.

Seeing all this shitshow with Ledger and Trezor, I decided to get a @Tangem wallet.

Easily the best UX I’ve experienced on a hardware wallet, especially on a phone.

My biggest concern is the physical security aspect. Carrying the cards around means there’s always a risk of mugged, especially if someone gets both your phone and card.

Overall, definitely a unique experience.

Spent some time with my younger cousins the other day, and it’s fascinating how curious a child’s brain is.

They were asking me all sorts of questions:

- Why do they build housing like this in Dubai but differently over here?
- Why don’t they have Lay’s chips over here?
- Why nesia different from the ones we get here?

One of them even noticed a tiny sensor on the back of my iPhone that I’d never paid attention to and asked me what it was for.

It made me wonder how much of our curiosity we lose as we grow older.

We get used to things, stop questioning them, and accept the world as it is.

Kids haven’t built those mental shortcuts yet. Everything is worth questioning.

Maybe growing up shouldn’t mean losing that instinct to ask questions and stay curious.

What’s the best way to hold on to our curiosity as we grow older?

My favorite type of founders I've helped fundraise are those who don't take no for an answer.

9 times out of 10, founders tend to just give up on a relationship if there's no fit for a deal, which shows their lack of sales skills and they start thinking the deal is dead.

I'm nent of closing a deal months or even years down the line.

Just because something isn't a fit today doesn't necessarily mean it won't be a fit tomorrow.

Keep the relationship warm. Share updates, invite them to events, send them company milestones, and keep showing them that you're building.

There are deals I've worked on at my audit security job 3 years ago that I'm now seeing get closed as I go through some of those groups.

Sharing basic updates, company launches, milestones, etc. can build a lot of trust over time.

I mean you're asking someone for millions of dollars. Do you really expect them to commit after a 30-minute conversation? It's possible, and it does work, but it shouldn't be the ideal scenario.

I promised myself I’d spend at least a week back in nature every year, and I’ve been trying to stick to it.

Safe to say, it’s easily one of the best things I’ve done for my mental stability and
There’s something about getting away from the city, being surrounded by nature, and slowing down for a few days that hits different.

Working on SEO for a fintech in an emerging market has given me a pretty interesting perspective on what the early days of SEO must have felt like.

I helped them go after the major keywords in their category, and we've managed to rank for a huge portion of them.

The interesting etition there is compared to what I'm used to seeing in more developed markets.

For a lot of these keywords, there are only a handful of companies seriously investing in SEO. Once you figure out what Google wants, you can capture a huge amount of the search traffic and basically own the category.

It made me realize how insanely valuable being early to SEO must have been and maybe still is.

Imagine discovering a new channel where millions of people are searching for exactly what you sell, while almost nobody has figured out how to rank for it yet.

SEO is still one of the most underrated acquisition channels for companies operating in markets where the competition hasn't caught up yet.

A lot of neobanks are losing big time hyper focusing on established markets and neglecting emerging markets.

I've worked with an Afghan fintech and deal with a lot of businessmen from there and other who do upto 100k+ worth of transactions per month because they're running their banks.

While distributing @EthenaPay codes, I also realized there's a similar pattern here with other regions like Pakistan, Latin American Countries with folks running Meta and Amazon ads or online stores spending tons of money.

Also ran into some folks who run large crypto communities in regions like Egypt and can be very helpful in distributing referral codes.

The takeaway is to focus on distributing to businesses more than average day CT users if you're going to get real volume on your product and emerging markets make more sense because they're underserved and don't have proper banking.

One of the biggest things that holds me back from buying a new phone online is not being able to actually hold the device before buying it.

Especially when you're switching to a completely different OS. You can watch a hundred reviews, but you still don't really know how the d.

That's what had been stopped me from buying the @nothing 4A Pro for a while.

I went back to the website recently and noticed they have this 3D mode where you can actually interact with the phone and get a much better sense of what it looks like from different angles.

Obviously it's not the same as holding it, but it's way better than looking at a few product renders and hoping you'll like it.

I genuinely don't understand why more companies don't do this.

Anyway, I'm sold @getpeid. Ordering one. Now let's see if the actual phone lives up to the website 😂

Facebook has to be the most underrated social platform for emerging markets.

I've been helping a fintech in an emerging market, and more than 90% of their traffic is coming from Facebook. App downloads and conversion rates are also extremely strong.

Most businesses in those cant amount of their ad budget on Facebook and I can totally see why.

After the Bybit exploit last year, I wrote this thread breaking down bug bounties across different centralized exchanges, and Bitget had one of the worst ones out there.

This isn't to say a bigger bounty would've prevented any of these exploits, but the size and structure of a indication of how seriously an exchange takes security and how well it aligns incentives with security researchers.

At the time, Bitget was offering a whopping $3K for finding a critical vulnerability in their exchange.

They've since increased it to $20K, which is obviously better, but it's still a pretty terrible incentive for a critical vulnerability in an exchange holding billions of dollars in user funds.

While there is a note saying rewards for core system vulnerabilities with significant financial impact can reach up to $1M at Bitget's sole discretion.

But that's usually a white hat's biggest fear. You find a critical vulnerability, responsibly disclose it, and then the exchange gets to decide what they think it's worth and nine times out of ten cheap ass exchanges and companies like bitget lowball tf out of whitehats.

Incentive alignment is extremely important for white hats and even grey hats, and this is a TERRIBLY structured bounty.

If you want to see how to set up a proper bug bounty, take @krakenfx's example. That is a sign of a team that takes security seriously.

kraken.com/features/secur…
6⃣ If you thought some of the mentioned exchanges are bad, wait till you see @bitgetglobal and their amazing 3 thousand dollar bug bounty.

Rules of the bounty are very unclear and vague, There's no clarification as to what defines a critical, medium or a low and the requirements e either gonna make 200 bucks or be told to f*ck off".

Easily the worse bug bounty setup out there.

Read more about it here:

Lost $20K USDC today to one missing character on Solana.

I was repaying a loan on Solana and was using the protocol in backpack, I copied my address from backpack, pasted it into Binance and After sending, I realized the last "J" in the address was gone.

Still a valid Solana ough. Almost certainly nobody holds the key.

First time losing money in a very stupid way.
