Owing to the sanctions that US has imposed including but not limited to banning Nvidia selling top-shelf GPUs to China; Chinese labs would have never be able to manage the inference demands if the models were closed source.

Hear me out…software is not a moat so….what if the next social media is just a browser and you browse thru peoples personal websites that follow a scroll Protocol. You open a browser that is hooked to a your preferred kind of algorithm and you are just scrolling away. And you subscribe to a website and not an instagram or a 𝕏 account.
You can the make a the personal website however you like. You can upload videos audios…the user can filter the kind of content they feel like consuming And no one at the top makes money showing you ads and planning on how things should be. Brands approach the personal site maintainers for ads. And you pay an algorithm provider or it just shows you ads or have a custom algorithm you deployed yourselffffff….wtfffff
