Excited to start covering the Coachella Valley Lakers for @SportingTrib

This is the scene at Acrisure Arena for CV Lakers media day.

I ran into Head Coach Alex Cerda and mentioned they had the court up. He immediately when to look and had a big smile on his face.

I love Kate Scott as a basketball play by play announcer for many reasons & one is that does not overtalk an event. Here she & her two analysts do the best & hardest thing announcers can do. They remain silent fior over a minute & let a historic moment speak for itself. These days in sports broadcasting this kind of perfect editorial decision by the announcers and or their producer its all almost never made. Bravo.
