My stepdad has driven me to school for 6 years.

Every single morning.

6 years. Same time. 7:15 AM.

He works at a grocery store. $14 an hour.

His shift starts at 8 AM.

My school is the opposite direction of his store.

It makes him late. Every day.

His boss cuts his hours for being late.

He never told me that.

He just drives me.

When I was 11, I wouldn't talk to him in the car.

I would sit in the back seat. Even though it was just us.

He would try.

"Did you do your homework?"

No answer.

"You want music?"

No answer.

He would just drive.

One day when I was 12, it was raining hard.

He was driving me.

The windshield wipers were broken.

He couldn't afford to fix them that week.

So he rolled down his window and stuck his head out to see the road while driving.

So I wouldn't get wet going to school.

He got soaked.

I pretended not to notice.

When I was 13, I started straightening my hair.

I would take an hour in the bathroom.

He would be late for work waiting for me.

He never said "hurry up."

He just stood by the door with my backpack and my lunch.

My lunch every day was a sandwich with the crusts cut off and a yogurt with my name written on it.

"EMMA" in black marker.

He writes it like a little kid. Big letters.

I used to throw the yogurt away at school because it was embarrassing.

He found them in the trash one day when he took out the trash.

He never said anything.

Next day, there was still a yogurt with my name on it.

When I was 15, I had a boyfriend.

Mark - my stepdad's name is also Mark - would wait up.

I would come home at 10 PM.

He would be asleep on the couch in his grocery store vest.

Waking up every time I opened the door.

He would say "You good?"

I would say "God, you are so annoying. Stop waiting for me. You're not my dad."

He said "I know. I just couldn't sleep."

He could sleep. He was exhausted. $14 an hour, on his feet all day.

He just wanted to know I got home safe.

Last week I got my license.

My mom said "You can drive yourself to school now."

I was excited. No more riding with Mark.

Monday morning, 7:15 AM.

I was leaving with my car keys.

Mark was standing by his old car.

Door open.

Engine on.

Two yogurts on the dashboard.

He said "Ready?"

I said "I can drive myself now. Remember?"

He froze.

He said "Oh. Yeah. Yeah of course."

He closed his car door slowly.

I drove myself to school.

I was 5 minutes early.

No one cut the crusts off my sandwich.

At lunch, I opened my lunchbox.

No yogurt with my name on it.

I sat in my new car in the school parking lot and cried.

At 18 Vanessa Del Rio was programming computers. Then stole cars across America for two years, got arrested, ended up on the streets of New York as a prostitute, moved to strip clubs, shot her first adult film for $150 to cover rent. Over 100 films. One of the biggest names in for drugs. Did time. Quit when AIDS hit and producers still didn't care.

In the video below, she sits down for a rare 1986 TV interview - and says something nobody expected her to say.

The only real victims in p*rnography are the people in front of the camera.

She said you lose something of yourself. Said she didn't know how to love because she was channeling everything through the camera. Had to shut down certain emotions just to function - and didn't realize what that cost her until years later.

She grew up with violence at home. Father beat her. A relative made advances on her as a child. None of it came into focus until she was sitting in a jail cell after a drug arrest, looking at her life from the outside for the first time.

She started bodybuilding in jail. First decision she'd made purely for herself in years.

Retired at the peak. Not because the money stopped. Because she grew out of it.

Said the industry had gotten worse since she left. Women coming in by the truckload. One-day shoots. No budgets. Just a meat market.

She saw it clearly now because she was finally outside it.

Is Vanessa Del Rio proof that you can build an empire out of something and still walk away whole, or did she just get out before it finished taking what was left?

[M/S] 49F son 24 I've been having Sxx with my son for 5 years. The second time: more handjob

After the first time I wondered how our next encounter would go. My goal was to get him to be more assertive. About a week passed after our first time and he wasn't picking up my hints. So I picked a night where I'd have to go for it again. We had dinner and were watching TV. I could tell he was working up the courage to ask me something. Finally he turns to me and says, "Do you think we can do what we did last time?" Being coy I said, "did what last time?" He replied, "you know when you gave me a handjob?" I'm proud of him he finally said the words. Again acting a little bit I rolled my eyes and instead of it being spur of the moment this time I pretended as if I was doing a chore. Just like a mom about ready to wash his clothes I said, "take your pants off." He wasn't that hard yet I caught him at the spur of the moment and said, "well it doesn't seem like you want this." He blushed and said, "no I really do!" I scooted next to him on the couch and put my hand on it. He got hard very quickly after that.

By the fall of 2001, the situation was becoming impossible to contain.

Enron's financial problems were attracting attention.

On October 16, the company announced a third-quarter loss of $618 million.

It also disclosed a reduction of approximately $1.2 billion in shareholders' equity connected to transactions involving partnerships controlled by Fastow.

Investors began losing confidence.

The company's stock started collapsing.

Then came something even more damaging.

On October 22, Enron disclosed that the SEC had opened a formal investigation.

The company that once seemed unstoppable was now struggling to explain its finances.

Remember those employees who believed they were building their future with Enron?

Remember the investors who trusted its executives?

Remember the retirement savings tied to the company's stock?

Their lives were about to change.

Sherron Watkins had warned them.

The warning had been delivered.

But the damage was already spreading.

This scene is all about power, unity, and the return of legends.

The message is clear: when the world faces its greatest threat, even the strongest heroes cannot stand alone. Old alliances must be restored, unexpected heroes must rise, and the fate of everyone depends on one se heroes be enough to stop what's coming?
Different powers. Different backgrounds. ONE mission. 🔥💥

Some fight with strength, some with intelligence, and others with nothing left to lose. But when the world is in danger, even the most different warriors can stand together.

If this team had to face Thanos, who would be the MVP?

I held it there for a moment and once again said, "you better go get clean up, and you better clean up the couch too."

I thought my husband would never find out I was cheating on him. What I didn't know was that he had discovered everything three months before I got caught.

I had been seeing another man for almost eight months. My husband was always busy with work, and somewhere along the line, I convinced myself that I deserved attention from someone else.

When my husband finally confronted me, I denied everything. But he calmly placed printed screenshots of my conversations, hotel receipts and pictures on the dining table.

I broke down and begged him to forgive me.

He didn't shout. He didn't insult me. He simply said, "You have made your choice. Now I'll make mine."

Two days later, he moved into the guest room. A week later, he informed both families that our marriage was ending.

But the biggest shock came when his lawyer contacted me.

He had already started divorce proceedings, and he was seeking primary custody of our two children. He also presented evidence of how I had been using money from our joint savings to fund my affair.

I lost the comfortable life I had taken for granted.

Six months later, I saw him at our daughter's birthday party. He looked happy, peaceful and completely uninterested in me.

I pulled him aside and asked if there was still any chance we could fix our marriage.

He looked at me and said:

"I spent eight months watching you choose another man. Don't expect me to spend the rest of my life begging you to choose me."

That was when I realised that I hadn't just risked my marriage.

I had destroyed it.

My colleague died three months ago.
We attended his funeral, watched his family bury him, and even received an official announcement from the company.
But last Monday, I received an email from his company account.
The subject line read: “I KNOW WHAT YOU DID TO ME.”
I thought someone was playing a sick joke.
Until I opened it.

Meera Reed carried Bran Stark through hell, lost her brother, watched Hodor and Summer die protecting him, and nearly died herself.

And Bran couldn’t even give her a proper thank you.

How are we supposed to accept him becoming king when the woman who sacrificed everything to save him barely got an acknowledgment?

If you don’t agree that Bran is the most ungrateful character in Game of Thrones, I need to check you🤔
SHE LITERALLY CARRIED HIM ALL THE WAY TO THE WALL. SHE DESERVED BETTER

Meera Reed deserves so much more credit for what she did for Bran. Her brother died protecting him. Hodor died protecting him. Summer died protecting him. She nearly died protecting him herself.

And what did an emotionally detached NPC, barely acknowledging the sacrifices that got him there.

I understand that becoming the Three-Eyed Raven changed him, but that’s precisely what makes his character so frustrating. You can lose your humanity without losing the ability to acknowledge the people who suffered for you.

The fact that this man ended up being crowned king after all that makes it even worse. Meera literally carried him through hell, and he couldn’t even give her the emotional acknowledgment she deserved.

Bran becoming king was already questionable. Bran becoming king after the show made us watch Meera pour everything into saving him, only for him to show almost zero gratitude, is a whole different level of absurdity.

I was fired for stealing from a company that had been stealing from its workers for 11 years.

The money was in my account.

The evidence was real.

But the person who reported me was the same man who had taught me how to do it.

I worked as a payroll officer for a construction company for six years. My job was simple: calculate salaries, process payments, and make sure everyone got paid on time.

Last month, our company announced that 23 workers would be laid off because of financial difficulties.

Some had worked there for more than a decade.

One of them was a site supervisor who had just borrowed money to pay his daughter's university fees.

The company promised to pay their outstanding salaries and severance packages within 30 days.

Then my manager called me into his office.

He told me to change the payroll records.

Not for everyone.

Just for the 23 workers.
