A few days ago, TTCrowd was a dashboard we built for our fundraiser.
Now it's becoming a platform for community campaigns on #Tezos.
TTC reached its funding target much faster than expected, and we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who helped us get there. While we were nity members and projects started asking about using something similar for their own fundraising.
So we moved TTCrowd to a new home and rebuilt it with that in mind:

The idea is intentionally simple.
A campaign can be just one goal, one target and one receiving wallet. Contributions go directly to the campaign treasury. TTCrowd never holds the funds.
Campaigns that need more can build on top of that.
Each gets its own Admin area, where up to two managers can configure and manage everything themselves.
Since the original TTC dashboard, we've added:
• Tezos L1 USDt and Etherlink XTZ + USDC donations
• Optional phases, multiple goals and treasury wallets
• Donation matching
• Funding through objkt Open Edition mints
• Donor comments and campaign updates
• Custom branding, colours and social share cards
• Configurable descriptions, links and optional About pages
• Discord notifications for donations and milestones
• Treasury activity tracking and optional staking/delegation yield
• Plenty of UI/UX improvements
The goal isn't to make every campaign complicated. It's to let each one start with only what it needs and add more when it makes sense.
We'll keep developing TTCrowd around the campaigns that arrive. If one needs something the platform doesn't support yet, we'll try to accommodate it. If it has broader use, we'll make it available as an option for everyone.

A bit of context on why we're doing this now, and why we're doing it this way ⬇️⬇️
TTC has always been a entirely by volunteers. Our weekly events, prizes and activities have been made possible by community donations and #TezosCRP awards.
But in 2023, we wanted to do more. For the first and only time, we asked for help covering the operational expenses we simply couldn't volunteer our way around: hosting our HubPage and Events Calendar, software licenses, subscriptions to help boost our social presence and reach, and other costs paid mostly in fiat.
TTC's first major operational funding came through a Tezos Ecosystem DAO grant for 2 years of operations, paid on February 2, 2024 ➡️ forum.tezosagora.org/t/thetezoscomm…
We actually started earlier, we covered the largest first-year expenses ourselves in October 2023. Then, in December, support from @cryptonio and an anonymous community donor helped us complete the budget needed for things like Elementor and our Tezos calendar tooling.
Through careful budgeting, plus some later in-kind support such as donated licenses, we managed to stretch those resources far enough to cover most of a third year.
Now we're entering year 4, and the Tezos Ecosystem DAO is no longer an option...
With $XTZ at its current price, our remaining treasury wasn't enough to cover even Phase 1, the core expenses for 2026/27.
So rather than look for another traditional funding source, we wanted to try something more transparent, measurable and sustainable, so TTC's Guardian @webidente developed a crowdfunding tool to ask for your support 🫂TTCrowd: crowd.purplematter.com

We got our poster/ad for Tezcon 2026 that we'll be plastering all over Seattle in a month or two. Thanks @normalistoxic 😁
We're opening up the stage for all kinds of works this year, and we want the event to have an "anything goes" feel - so we have room for both in-person and l be showcased at the event, "open-mic" style. We're looking for folks who realize we live in janky times, but haven't given up yet - "sh*t" is an essential ingredient for fertilizer after all - what comes next? What will grow in the aftermath of all of this insanity? Those are the sorts of things we want to try to figure out at the event and beyond.
(The form for would-be participants can be found in the meetup QR - there are no guidelines or criteria this year - bring anything you want.).
Iran is on everyone's mind right now - #Tezos is one of the few places where we're using blockchain technology in the way it was intended - uncensored, decentralized, and raw. If you're interested in hearing what's been going in that region from an artistic point of view, you might find this event very interesting.
(For example, did you know that they are "rationing" internet connections in Iran right now? Our contact with the artists there have been sporadic because they can only get online for a few minutes at a time.)
