I'm kind of confused about this whole thing of "the landers were doing the heavy lifting", like, Starship will literally push Orion all the way to LLO in the current architecture, that sounds quite heavy to me...
So the quick stage is just for getting to polar orbit with BM?

Making Orion actually able to reach a useful lunar orbit instead of forcing the landers to do all the heavy lifting is the most practical thing NASA’s done on Artemis in years.

@moonwarnownes already exist and the real engineering model will be shown off in 2 months
The assembly buildings has had all the land cleared already with the buildings already into construction with a completion date of 2028.
Remember that LandSpace built Zhuque-3 and flew it in only 2 years
CZ-12B was also 2 years, these rockets will fly insanely fast.
CZ-9 will also debut with just the reusable booster and eventually adopt the reusable second stage in the early 2030s for ILRS

Now that I have a decent sketch of the Hail Mary, I will start re-modeling each asset so it meets a higher level of quality.
I will basically re-do the whole ship. Wish me luck.

Using my short breaks to at least add some placeholder assets to the Hail Mary; here's the Lunar Cruiser-derived logistic spacecraft and the logistic external module.

Something that I haven't seen anyone mention yet is that during the Q&A Jared expressed interest in doing a future Artemis mission to a previous Apollo landing site.

This concept seems like a lot of fun, I will probably do some renders of it once I finish with my Project Hail Mary fanfic and another project I have on the plans.
NET December probably.
NET December probably.
If they still want to force NASA to build SLS after Artemis 5 or 8 or whatever, they should just make the entire core into a refuelable hydrolox stage with vacuum restartable engines. As tall as the VAB. Refuel that puppy in high earth orbit, and it could shoot a crewed mission to like Titan.

I have so many questions about this test: How are they planning to accommodate the header tanks below the hatch and docking port? Are they going to deploy Starlinks during this mission? The pez dispenser seems to suggest so. How will the hatch be integrated with the heat shield??
