For a long while now, I’ve been quietly building something: Ora.
An offline first business management system, with POS built in, powered by Kotlin Multiplatform and running on Android, iOS, and Desktop from a single codebase, already in production.
Here’s what’s under the hood 🧵

I have a dashcam that streams live video over USB to its manufacturer's app.
So I decompiled the app, figured out how it works, and built my own Android app that runs directly on my car's head unit.
Now I can get the live feed at 1280×720, 14 FPS. Planning to experiment with t!

Part 2 of On-Device ML with Kotlin is live. 🚀
I took a pretrained MobileNet V2, put it inside an Android app, and got it classifying what my camera sees in real time.
No internet. No server. No API bill.
Here's what I learned building it

Step 4: Turn scores into predictions 📊
The model's output needs to be interpreted according to its output format.
Then map the winning class index to the corresponding label in labels.txt.
That's how the prediction becomes a readable result on screen.
