What makes @grvt_io interesting to me is the combination of its completed 1.1M GRVT buyback and burn with its upcoming product expansion.
The buyback is already done. Those tokens were permanently burned instead of being retained in a treasury, making this a completed action map announcement.
But I’m more interested in how Grvt 2.0 develops from here.
According to the snapshot I reviewed on DeFiLlama, GRVT had $33.77M in TVL, $14.626B in 30-day perpetual trading volume and $437 M in open interest.
These numbers tell different stories. TVL reflects capital deposited in the protocol, trading volume shows market activity, and open interest measures outstanding derivative positions.
For me, the important question is how this activity translates into a better trading experience over time.
Three things I’ll be watching:
- Stable Funding Perps: Expanding into stocks, FX, commodities and indices could give traders access to more markets from one platform.
- Funding efficiency: Once-daily funding and zero trading fees are interesting, but the actual cost of holding positions will still depend on funding rates, spreads and execution.
- Trading + earning: Bringing both into one self-custodial app could make capital management more convenient, provided the products deliver as intended.
It's making them practical to trade, with reliable execution and transparent costs.
That’s what will shape my view of Grvt 2.0 once these features become available.

If I had the chance to launch a token on Robinhood Chain, I wouldn't focus only on attracting buyers. I'd think about what makes them want to remain part of the ecosystem.
That's where @RebateLaunch gets interesting.
