Please leave out water for wildlife. No rain is forecast and many animals are suffering in the drought! 🦔💦
My original water tub was always so busy, with animals queuing up to use it, that I put out a second tub on the other side of the dried out stream.
That too was quickly mobbed by thirsty wildlife.
And of course my little squirrel photobomber found me.🥰
Please provide water for oDZckFpD20

Having lunch in town with the girls @KatieStammcspp & Julia Stephenson @Vernia. A waiter looked like 1966 World Cup hero Nobby Stiles & I complimented him.

Julia asked: "Is he the lead singer of Slade?"

She's referring to Noddy Holder.

@durbsbytheseaf@BeresfordPetern be responsible for the death of our precious wildlife and the collapse of our ecosystem.🥰
We have to break free from the brainwashing of all the greedy garden supply companies and TV shows, and recognise that natural isn't 'untidy'.
A garden isn't another room of your housornamenting. It's a living breathing space, and will only flourish and be truly balanced if allowed to be the larder and shelter that nature intended.
I know it's hard to be a pioneer, but you can lead by example.
My front garden is 'messy' to some, but even they are learning, as they walk past each day, that my garden has more life - it has more butterflies, more birds, it chirps with grasshoppers and hums with bees.
And right now, because I don't prune my buddleia, those dead flower heads are massed with noisy joyfully chirping goldfinches, enjoying the highly caloric seeds that will nourish them through winter.😊

Reminder: just yesterday we learned that:
A) a former ISIS guard for a beheading squad came to yookay illegally on a boat, obviously because of the ECHR/HRA he can't be jailed or deported, living freely;

B) SAS guys sent on missions to deal with ISIS beheaders were then arrested for MURDER for dealing with them; they were lied to by the military police; they have been told they can never be clear of the charges (because the ECHR/HRA means any time some lawyer like Jolyon or Hermer wants to team up with nutters on a ECHR case, the government will be forced to investigate again and remember Hermer's friend *invented* war crimes to bring cases against British soldiers, but obviously wasn't jailed, triples all round in the Inner Temple).

So we're importing the jihadis at scale while prosecuting for murder SAS we rely on to defend us from the jihadis - and if you don't like this you're fascist and it's a reason to ban X in yookay.

No you will not see Kemi-kasi campaign on these issues because the Tories agreed with Labour for 25 years that this combination is 'defending civilisation'. The Tories imported many of the jihadis now in the news, and the Tories approved all the worst officials and lawyers in SW1 bringing the lawfare cases, including against those who were given medals by the Queen for stopping IRA terrorist attacks - they now have to beg for cash for lawyers in their 70s/80s.

And because Reform is a bin fire which can't maintain focus on anything for 2 minutes -- like Kemi-kasi -- you probably won't see anything sustained from them either.

Cowardly politicians demand Brits prepare for war while spending 58 million pursuing brave SAS vets, causing suicide, divorce and financial ruin! All under spineless ex army officer @BenWallace70 and @BorisJohnson’s watch! Wallace only reached captain so is no military genius!

Speak to any hard-bitten older farmer around me in Somerset, or anywhere in Britain, and they will tell you that they grew up among fields teeming with corncrakes, grass snakes, hares, hedges full of yellowhammers and other songbirds, car windscreens splattered with bugs after the shortest summer drive, nearly all now gone. 98% of wildflowers, gone. Huge shoals of herring, cod, and other fish in the sea, a distant memory. Across almost every indicator, the losses during just one human lifetime have been catastrophic. The data is all there, as are the anecdotes. Britain is among the most nature-depleted countries on earth.
@TrooperSnooks @p4rus We are not the most nature depleted country. That's just a myth. We are one of the most human altered countries, i.e. one with the least amount of truly wild places. Our biodiversity is actually quite high for a small country, partly as a result of human intervention.

Replying to @Scotslass50
@Scotslass50 @Vernia How patronising. Zionism is the belief in the right of Israel to exist. If you're not a Zionist you're either an Islamist or a western student politician. There is no difference between Gazans and Hammas - there is no such things as a Palestinian.

Hope that helps

I don’t think most non Jewish people have any idea of how threatened many Jews now feel in the UK. I received this from a Jewish friend;
‘Thanks for the chat today. Good to know not everyone hates us… I am finding it very difficult to deal with some of the hatred Xx’

Yes it’s true. Upto 500 mature beautiful trees will be chopped down for a bus route!

The next time your government lectures you about CO2 remind them that buses kick it out… they don’t sequester it 🤡
The C2C TWAO has been granted, with powers to compulsorily purchase land and fell hundreds of mature trees across Madingley Hill and Coton Orchard. They accept the harm is likely permanent, but approved it anyway. gov.uk/government/pub…

The RNLI is not a charity. It is a maritime trafficking operation with a donation tin and a government lawyer for a chair.

You believed the yellow jerseys. You believed the volunteers. You believed your pennies were saving fishermen. They were funding something else entirely.
air since 2023. Not a captain. Not a coxswain. A senior partner at DLA Piper who built her career representing governments in international disputes. Trinity Hall Cambridge. OBE. The Children’s Society. Every credential screams globalist bureaucrat. None scream rescue. She is not there to save drowning Britons. She is there to manage cross-border legalities while her organization ferries illegal migrants to your shores.

The governance structure is a closed loop of insider control. Council appoints Trustees. Trustees appoint Executives. Executives run operations. No external oversight. No independent review. A self-perpetuating machine that selects its own leadership, sets its own strategy, and answers to nobody but the mirror.

They tell you 7,800 volunteers serve the coast. The accounts tell a different story. £93.5 million on salaries and pensions. 58.6 percent of total spending. The CEO pockets £189,000, more than the Prime Minister. These are not volunteers. These are paid operatives carrying out a mission. The volunteer myth exists to suppress wages, evade labor laws, and keep you donating to what you think is a grassroots rescue service.

But the truth is international. The RNLI founded the International Maritime Rescue Federation in 1924. Today it coordinates 160 organizations across 50 countries. It is funded by Lloyd’s Register Foundation. It managed the migrant crisis in the Aegean Sea. It supplies boats, training, and equipment to foreign rescue teams. It is a node in a global network facilitating mass migration under the legal cover of maritime rescue.

Follow the chain. HMRC provides tax relief. The Civil Service Lifeboat Fund provides restricted cash. The government lawyer sets policy. The paid crews execute operations. The international network coordinates with 160 foreign bodies. Every link is controlled. Every link is funded. Every link leads to the same destination. Your money. Your coast. Their agenda.

Why does a coastal rescue charity need a government international disputes specialist as chair? Why spend nearly sixty percent of revenue on payroll? Why coordinate with 160 global organizations? Why does the governance structure lock out the public?

The RNLI is not saving lives. It is ending Britain. And you are still paying for the rope.

According to the planning officer they have only received 383 letters of objection please please send your objections in ,
you don’t have to live here to object to the destruction of a unique nature reserve
📢 IMPORTANT UPDATE, OBJECTIONS FOR RM/2026/2❗️

❓ IS THERE A DEADLINE?

At this moment, NO formal deadline has been officially announced yet. The consultation is still open, and objections will be accepted right up until the application goes before the Planning Committee. ✅
en called in by Councillor Pip O'Neill, meaning it WILL be decided by elected councillors at a public Planning Committee meeting, not just by officers behind closed doors. That gives us every reason to keep submitting objections right up to that meeting date.

✅ WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

🔹 Reference Number: RM/2026/2. Always put this at the TOP of every email or letter.

🔹 What it is: Reserved Matters application for Penrhos Coastal Park. NOT the original 2016 outline permission.

🔹 What's proposed: 500 lodges, water park, spa, restaurants, with MAJOR changes from what was agreed in 2016

🔹 Key concerns:

• ❌ Public access REMOVED from large areas people have walked freely for decades.

• ❌ Car parking INCREASED from 600 to 1,015 cars, a 70% rise.

• ❌ Massive tree-felling in one of Anglesey's precious woodlands. Were it’s been stated in the media. we already suffer with the lowest tree coverage in the whole of the UK.

• ❌ Water supply UNCERTAIN. Welsh Water's capacity hasn't been confirmed.

• ❌ Traffic chaos on A5 & London Road, no proper highways assessment.

• ❌ Owner in administration, sold off, developers gone, promises mean nothing.

🔹 Where to send objections:

📧 Email: planning@anglesey.gov.wales

✉️ Post: Planning Department, Isle of Anglesey County Council, Llangefni, LL77 7TW

🔹 What to include:

• ✅ RM/2026/2 clearly at the top

• ✅ Your full name & address (objections without this CANNOT be accepted)

• ✅ Say "I OBJECT to this application"

• ✅ List your reasons, you don't need to be an expert! Write from your heart: public access, trees, wildlife, traffic, water, heritage

• ✅ You do NOT need to live on Anglesey. anyone can object.

⏰ MOST IMPORTANT MESSAGE:

DO NOT WAIT! Even without a set deadline, submit your objection NOW. Once it's scheduled for Committee, the Council may close comments, so don't delay. Every single letter, email, and voice counts. Councillors WILL read these before they vote.

💡 REMINDER:

This is NOT a done deal. The original 2016 permission was outlined only, these Reserved Matters are NOT the same plan. The changes are so significant that they should be treated as an entirely new application. We are fighting to SAVE Penrhos as a public nature reserve. FOR THE PEOPLE, NOT FOR DEVELOPERS. 🌳💪🌳💪🌳💪🌳💪💚

Please share this post. and ask every single person you know to write in. Together, our voices CAN and WILL be heard! ✊🌿

As we enter yet another week of drought conditions please, I beg you, put out water for the wildlife.
They have nothing.
No puddles.
No ponds.
No streams.
All have dried up.
Sometimes the birds are thought of and provided for.
But the nocturnal animals go unseen.
Unthought Just the tantalising smell of water from a pond they may drown in, or a drain they may get trapped in.
Or a stagnant, dirty old birdbath they may get fatal fluke from.
Hedgehogs need to drink a lot of water to stay healthy. Please provide clean, fresh, safe, ground level water each evening for our precious nocturnal wildlife.
Tap water is best.
Pop a dish or two out tonight.
Dying of thirst is a terrible, painful way to die.
It should never happen to any animal, and certainly not in a country that has the safest tap water in the world.
The few minutes it takes you to fill a dish will make the difference between life and death.❤️

On 3rd June 2017 three Islamic ☪️ terrorists, Khueram Butt, Rachid Redouane & Youseff Zaghba abandoned plans to attack Oxford Circus & instead went to London Bridge. Their Renault Master van ploughed into a crowd on London Bridge, killing two.

They then to the Boro Bistro pub, killing houted "This is for Allah."

They then headed for the Black ⚫️ & Blue steakhouse. The staff locked the doors 🚪.

They smashed the doors in only to be confronted by Roy Larner. He shouted "f- you, I'm Millwall."

I'll let Roy pick up the rest of the story.

F- me he was brave.
