My feed is full of the same post right now.
"This guy used AI to build a trading system on @Polymarket . Result: +$149,920."
Different accounts, different numbers, same template: a bot account, a smart-looking formula, a big profit, and a link to sign up.
When people asked Grok under one of them, it said the account's profit looked real, but the AI story was not verified and it looked like a promo post.
I've been building bots for the 5-minute Bitcoin markets on Polymarket for 3 months.
The wallet can be real.
The story of how it was built is marketing.
Whoever finds a real edge has zero reason to sell it to you in a post.
Five practical rules:
Check the wallet history yourself, not the screenshot.
Ignore the formula. It's there to look smart.
Never connect your keys or your funds to "the agent" in the link.
Paper test for weeks before you use real money.
Use AI as a third hand, not the main brain.

@Polymarket is changing its engine.
On Nov 2, new markets are planned to switch to Protocol V2.
What changes:
The system it has used since 2019 gets replaced by one new contract for all positions, a new collateral token (pUSD) and a new oracle setup that can plug into @UMAprotocol, @chainlink and others. Test markets run until Oct 30. The final date is still marked tentative.
Who should care:
If you run a bot or a tracker (like me on the 5-min BTC markets): new markets use a new position ID. Code built on the old token IDs will miss them or break. Test it on the test markets before Nov 2, not after.
If you just trade: your current positions are not converted and don't need any action from you.
That last part matters, because "V2 migration" is perfect scam bait. Fake Polymarket sites are already live right now.
So if you get a DM or email saying "migrate your funds to V2" or "claim your V2 bonus", it's a wallet drainer. Real support is @PolymarketHelp, and only when you open the chat yourself.
Upgrades are when bots break and scammers get busy. Be ready for both.
Head of Protocol @0xrajath announced the date.

A crypto project just lost about $4.85M
No bug. No stolen keys.
The rules worked exactly as written.
X100 Global was run by a "Senate" of 3 seats, given to the biggest holders who applied.
The attacker borrowed about 1.94M USDT for one single transaction (a flash loan), take 2 of the 3 seats, and voted.
The vote made the treasury sell 400,000 tokens for about 36 USDT, into a pool the attacker had just created.
Proposal, vote, execution and loan repayment: all in the same transaction.
The token fell more than 96%.
Governance you can rent for one transaction is not governance.
Five practical rules:
Check for a waiting period between a vote and its execution.
Check that only tokens held before a proposal can vote.
Count how many people can move the treasury. 3 is not decentralised.
No audit of the governance rules, no money in.
If you can't find these answers, that is your answer.

2 million tokens created from nothing.
That's what happened on @initia , a blockchain, this Friday.
A bug let the attacker mint 2 million AUSD, a bridged stablecoin, with nothing behind it.
About $2.7M in AUSD, ETH and USDC was bridged out to Ethereum before the team paused the whole chain.
Two lessons.
Bridges are still the weakest link in crypto.
And if a team can switch the chain off, ask who really holds the keys.
Five practical rules:
Don't park savings in bridged tokens.
Keep long-term coins in your own wallet.
Never trust one chain or one bridge with everything.
Check who can pause or upgrade a protocol before you deposit.

If you're in the EU and hold USDT on @coinbase , you have time until Friday.
On October 30, Coinbase will automatically convert USDT and 13 other stablecoins, mostly into USDC.
The reason is MiCA, the EU's crypto law. Coinbase can't support stablecoins whose issuer is not authorised under it.
Buying, selling and converting them is already blocked. Withdrawing is the only option left.
Coinbase itself warns the conversion may be a taxable event.
You didn't choose this.
The exchange and the regulator chose for you.
Five practical rules:
Check your balances today.
If you want to keep the token, withdraw it to your own wallet before October 30.
Don't send these coins to Coinbase after the deadline. They won't be credited.
Ask about taxes before the conversion, not after.
Not your keys, not your choice.

Good morning, CT!
Being unfit is not a small habit.
A study followed 122,007 adults who did a treadmill test, for about 8 years.
People with below-average fitness had about 41% higher risk of death than people just above average.
Smoking showed the same 41%.
It’s a link, not eed proof to go for a walk.
You don’t need to be an athlete. You need to be above average.
Five practical rules:
Walk every day, even when it’s only 20 minutes.
Do something that makes you breathe hard three times a week.
Take the stairs and carry the bags.
Train with your children, not only for them.
Measure your progress every month, not every day.
Have a wonderful Sunday.

Greece just banned social media for children under 15, starting January 2027.
A law can limit the apps.
Only you can fill the time.
Rules help. Presence matters more.

Put your phone away first.
Give your children something better at they watch and with whom.

@coinbase is now open for AI agents.
You can connect ChatGPT, Claude, Grok and others, and let them trade crypto, stocks and derivatives in your account.
Now read Coinbase's own advice: use a separate portfolio, funded only with money you can afford to lose.
When the exchange itself says that, listen.
I've been building @Polymarket trading bots for 3 months. The same rules apply.
Five practical rules:
Give the agent a wallet, not your vault.
Preview every order until you trust the setup.
Set a maximum size for every trade.
Never let an agent act on text it reads online. Hidden instructions on a page can trick it.
Know where the off switch is.
Use AI as a third hand, not the main brain.

"JUST IN: Tanker with 40,000 tons of Russian diesel heading to New York"
Sounds massive. Let's check the numbers.
40,000 t × ~7.45 bbl/t ≈ 300,000 barrels
US distillate demand: ~3.8M barrels/day (EIA)
300k ÷ 3.8M ≈ 0.08 days
That's about 2 hours of US consumption.
It may be even less. "40,000 tons" was given as the ship's displacement, the weight of the ship, not only the cargo. A previous Russian cargo was ~230k barrels, about 1.5 hours.
For scale:
The US already imports ~150k bbl/day of distillates, so this is ~2 days of normal imports
The full pledge (300k + 500k + 1M tons) ≈ 13M barrels ≈ 3.5 days of demand
The real impact is on sentiment, not supply.
Headlines sell scale. Always do the math.

Good morning CT!
Never confuse kindness with weakness.
Be a good man, but don’t be one who lets everyone walk over him.
You can be kind without being naive, generous without being exploited, and forgiving without forgetting the lesson.
5 rules:
Help people without expecting something violates your principles.
Forgive when you can, but rebuild trust carefully.
Walk away from repeated disrespect.
Never compromise your integrity just to be liked.
You don’t need to become cruel because the world can be cruel. Become wise enough to remain good without being taken advantage of.
A good heart needs a strong backbone.

Be the same man in private as you are in public.
Anyone can look like a good person when people are watching. Character is who you are when nobody is.
Five questions to ask yourself:
Do I keep my promises when nobody can check?
Do I tell the truth when lying would benefit me?
cannot help me?
Do I honor my commitments when they become inconvenient?
Would I be proud if the people I love saw how I behaved today?
You don’t need to announce your values. You need to live them.
Eventually, your habits reveal more about you than your words ever will.
Be someone you can respect when you’re alone with your thoughts.

Miner Wars is getting a bigger ladder.
But will that make me play it more?
@GoMining has announced two major changes to Miner Wars, and here's what you need to know.
1. A completely new league structure
Miner Wars is moving to 40 leagues across 4 tiers, opening up 390 places above Dune instead of 150.
The new promotion and demotion rules:
- Top 3 clans in each league/division below Odyssey get promoted every Cycle.
- Bottom 9 clans in every league above Dune get demoted.
The rounds, scoring, multipliers and payout rules stay the same.
The idea? Give more clans a realistic chance to climb the ladder instead of making progression feel out of reach.
2. Clan limits drop from 1,000 to 50
Clans will be limited to 50 members for new joins.
Already in a bigger clan? Nobody gets kicked out, and no clan gets disbanded. Existing members stay, but the clan can't recruit again until its numbers fall below 50.
Plus, everyone who has used a clan join gets one back.
Now, here's my personal take.
I've played Miner Wars, and I understand the appeal. There's competition, strategy, coordination and the possibility of earning extra BTC.
But when I compare it with my own Solo Mining strategy, I keep coming back to one thing:
Time is valuable too.
Miner Wars requires more attention, monitoring, coordination and sometimes extra GMT for boosts if you want to compete seriously.
With Solo Mining, I don't have to constantly watch rounds or think about when to boost. I can follow my strategy and get on with my day.
And with my current setup, I'm making more through Solo Mining than through Mining Mode.
When I factor in the time I save, Solo Mining wins for me even more clearly.
Will the new league structure make Miner Wars more accessible? I think opening up more promotion spots is a positive change.
Will it change how I play? Probably not much.
I know some players enjoy the competitive side, and that's perfectly fine. But personally, I prefer a strategy that doesn't demand constant attention just to make the numbers work.
At the end of the day, it's not only about how much you earn.
It's also about how much effort it takes to earn it.
For me, Solo Mining wins on both fronts.
What about you: are you team Miner Wars or team Solo Mining?
But will that make me play it more?
