So this is where the claims of Israel potentially close to a civil war came from...
This is not a Netflix series or the plot of a spy thriller. This is a real story unfolding in the United States.
A major espionage scandal has erupted in Washington, involving classified CIA documents, Israel, and a romantic relationship.
The FBI arrested 42-year-old Ian or a contractor linked to U.S. intelligence and had access to top-secret information.
According to investigators, Brinksman allegedly spent months sharing classified intelligence with his girlfriend, journalist Aida Chavez, who runs the independent publication Capital & Empire on Substack.
But the most interesting part is what those alleged leaks were about.
The first investigation focused on claims that Israel had tried to persuade the Trump administration to assassinate a senior Iranian political figure, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf.
The second examined alleged Israeli plans to strengthen military cooperation with the United States and maintain American support even after Trump leaves office.
The third — perhaps the most explosive — concerned an alleged classified CIA assessment examining the risk of a severe internal crisis in Israel, potentially escalating into civil conflict under certain circumstances.
These reports became central to the FBI investigation.
Federal investigators examined more than 800 phone calls and attempted connections between the suspect and the journalist, comparing their communications with the timing of his access to classified documents and the publication dates of the articles.
Brinksman now faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted.
No charges have been filed against the journalist, and Brinksman’s guilt has not been established in court. The intelligence claims described in the articles also remain unverified.
And here is what makes this story particularly remarkable: if the allegations are proven, highly sensitive American intelligence may have reached the public not through a foreign spy agency, but through a romantic relationship between a man with access to classified information and a journalist.
Sometimes reality sounds more unbelievable than fiction.

🚨 Brazil’s Presidential Election Rules Just Changed Mid-Vote
A single justice of Brazil’s Supreme Court has ordered the nationwide extension of voting until 7 PM today two hours past the original 5 PM closing time.
The decision came from Minister Cristiano Zanin, Lula’s former personal lawyer, after the president’s campaign filed an urgent constitutional complaint citing reduced public bus service in a few cities in Bahia. Zanin applied the extension to every polling station in the country.
The request reached the court at 4:32 PM. The ruling was issued as the original deadline approached. Brazil’s electoral court (TSE) has been ordered to implement it immediately.
Flávio Bolsonaro’s campaign had also requested limited extensions in specific municipalities affected by heavy rain, but those stayed with the electoral authorities. Only the PT petition produced a national order from the Supreme Court
This is an unprecedented last-minute judicial rewrite of election rules while voting is still underway.

Think about that. Crawling through twisted aluminum, in near-zero visibility, to recover decomposing human remains from a submerged cockpit.
And if you think a pilot plunging into the ocean at night didn’t soiled himself in his final moments, you know precious little about aviation accidents, violent death, or the grim realities Navy divers confront.
He has not only touched human waste. He’s literally submerged himself in a confined space filled with it.
And how exactly do you think EOD divers remove bolts from the submerged mines they dive down to defuse?
