I genuinely cannot understand how anyone can watch a person with ALS communicate through a brain implant and still reduce Elon Musk’s contribution to humanity to how much money he gives away.
The man is helping build technology that could fundamentally transform life for people with devastating neurological conditions.
And we’re supposed to be more impressed by billionaires writing enormous checks to foundations and collecting applause at charity dinners?
Give me a fucking break.
Real generosity isn’t measured exclusively by how much wealth you redistribute. It’s measured by the problems you solve, the suffering you alleviate, and the possibilities you create for people who previously had none.
Neuralink’s early results are a beautiful reminder of that. You cannot put a price on giving someone a way to express themselves again.

Imagine losing your ability to speak. Having thoughts, memories, jokes, emotions, and an entire personality trapped behind a body that can no longer express them.
And then, one day, technology gives you a way to communicate again. That’s what Neuralink is working toward. It’s hard to even comprehend how extraordinary this is.
People spend so much time arguing about Elon Musk that they sometimes forget what his companies are actually trying to accomplish.
