It's not so much these 2 look the same, it's that they are quite forgettable. After finishing both thier questlines, if I passed either in the street I'd have no idea

If you play the Good Old Games version you don't have to worry
I totally get people's frustration with Bethesda constantly updating Fallout 4.
That in mind, this update seems like it'll do some genuine good. Most file types being supported on PlayStation is a breakthrough.
PlayStation users almost didn't get console mods at all due to the hey'd bar off custom assets. Since then, it's been an insanely limited system that Xbox and PC users never dealt with.
Those very limitations were in place this whole time, barring Starfield's PS5 launch. Insanity.
