I wonder who will win? They seem fairly evenly matched intellectually?

I’m working on an article to explain why I believe the UK and Irish governments are telling households to stockpile water and food that doesn’t require electricity.
TL;DR: I believe governments are preparing to prioritise AI data centres over their own citizens.
The electricity consumption figures and government policies point to a serious problem. Both countries are preparing households for prolonged power outages while giving energy hungry AI data centres preferential treatment.
Are these warnings really about extreme weather, or do governments already know their electricity grids won’t be able to cope with the expansion of AI data centres?

“Be ready by having some everyday essentials… three litres of water per person per day, tinned goods... to last a few days”
Speaking to @vicderbyshire, Defence Secretary Wes Streeting details advice to households to be prepared for a “dangerous and turbulent world”.

Today, once again, British wildlife will face unspeakable cruelty as hunts will be heading out across the countryside.
Animals will be disturbed from their peace, flushed from their homes and chased to exhaustion - and for many, it will end in a brutal end, as their bodies will inside out.
And once again it will be sabs that will be doing their best to stop them. In the skies and the fields, sabs will be with the hunts everywhere they go, putting themselves between the hunted and the scum.
Please support us to support them - for just £20 a year you can help end this. Read more here 👉🏻 huntsabs.org.uk/product/join-t…

Lenny Henry has backed calls to RENAME the classic card game Blackjack to Darkjack after the original name was branded ‘completely inappropriate’ and ‘an insult’.
Experts say Blackjack, a traditional casino game played worldwide for centuries, will keep all t, but simply adopt a ‘more sensitive’ identity if the changes go ahead.

🚨 ANIMAL CRUELTY: LIVERPOOL - ONE DOG DIED, THE OTHER WAS LEFT FIGHTING TO SURVIVE
Two young dogs were found so severely malnourished that both scored just 1 out of 9 on the veterinary body condition scale — the lowest Bulldog Benji weighed just 5.3kg, with his ribs, spine and hip bones painfully prominent. Bichon Frise Pixie weighed only 2.9kg and was buried beneath filthy, tightly matted fur.
Vets concluded Benji had been starved for a “long period of time”. Pixie had to be sedated to remove her matted coat, only for vets to discover liver disease. Sadly, euthanasia was deemed the kindest option.
Their owner, Danielle Southern, 30, of Saunby Close, Garston, admitted two animal welfare offences.
At Liverpool Magistrates’ Court, she received an 18-month community order, was ordered to pay £500 costs and was banned from keeping animals for 10 years.
Benji survived, recovered and found a new home.
Pixie never got that chance.

I view Boris JOHNSON as a criminal. He knew what he was doing and did it gleefully. He should have been locked up by now. This is what is wrong with this country. A fascist, sociopathic and psychopathic RULING ELITE who don't think the rules apply to them.
This man and his lackey Hancock have been found guilty of killing thousands of older people living in care homes and lying to the public time and again.
They should be arrested, prosecuted and imprisoned posthaste.

🚨JUST IN: Afghan asylum seeker who assaulted seven-year-old in hostel has sentence increased to four years.
• Afsar Safi, who arrived in the UK by small boat in 2021, has had his jail term increased after the Court of Appeal ruled it was unduly lenient.
• He was convicted of assaulting a seven-year-old girl at a London immigration hostel on 6 September last year.
• Safi pulled the girl into his room, grabbed her by the waist and kissed her on the cheek after she had refused his invitations several times.

Wait … let me get this straight …
They’ve released prisoners early because the prisons are full, and now they’ve run out of accommodation … so now they’re giving them TENTS to sleep on the streets.
But Burnham says everyone sleeping rough will be offered accommodation by re releasing prisoners onto the streets in … to put them up in hotels in December?
LOL 🤡
