Next up… JMU at The Rock Thursday night. Given how both teams are trending, that could be a fun one.

DON’T CALL IT A WIN STREAK. 🔥 #SMTTT

Final from Monroe! Stay tuned for postgame coverage at USM On SI.

Eagles led 27-7 entering the 4th. They’re up 27-21 with 6:47 left. Gotta do something on offense. Penalties and drops have been big today.

There have been so many penalties since going up 27-7.

On a play that was VERY similar to the game-winner against the Cajuns, Jamarice Wilder put USM up 17-7 in the 3rd quarter at ULM. #SMTTT

ULM scores on an 83-yard passing TD and Eagles’ lead is cut to 10-7 in the 3rd… phew

Wilbanks hits a FG to give USM a 10-0 lead with 17 seconds left until halftime. Eagles get the ball to start the 3rd, so that was huge.

WOW … what a punch-out by long snapper Luke Beard on that ULM punt return to get the Eags the ball right back!

On a 4th and 2, Steven Robinson breaks loose for a 33-yard TD run.

Eags lead 7-0 in Monroe with 12:48 left in the 2nd quarter! #SMTTT

Eagles threatened but turned it over on downs. Continues a season-long trend of not scoring on opening drives.

USM defense forces a 3-and-out immediately after, though.
