For over 5 years I've campaigned to raise awareness about the imminent transformation of society that I foresaw would take place as a consequence of continued advancements in the technology sector, and specifically relating to #AI.

I've spent a great deal of time thinking about how the new technology will change the way we structure society, about the risks that implementation poses to civil rights and liberty, and about simple steps that we could take to protect our historic freedoms.

The government's recent announcement to roll out compulsory #digitalID for the #UK is just the first major development that's caught public attention. Be in no doubt: there are many more changes to come and it's important that we all know what to expect.

Unlike most posts on this topic, I do not expect this thread to be shared by rage-baiters or engagement farmers. However, I do hope to persuade any nuanced thinkers among you to help me spread the word, so if you think that describes your followers on X, I encourage you to share this post now.

Why should Britain be expected to defend Israel's national interests if Israel's leadership refuses to respect ours?

By splitting the vote in Leeds, Reform UK almost allowed Labour to slip through the middle. Splitting the vote is what they keep accusing Restore Britain of doing, so why didn't Reform stand their candidate down? 🤔

@Casumptiousuthpieces continue to reassure one another. They’re carrying on as if everything is normal, telling themselves everything will be fine, but I don’t think even they really believe it.

Reform UK is a party in terminal decline. It’s holed below the waterline and destined to bn the history of British politics. People will rightly remember the part that the party played in changing the face of British politics, but as a vehicle for radical change, Reform has taken us as far as it can.

Reformers have Farage to thank for where they find themselves today. He betrayed the aspirations of the people upon whose backs Reform was built. In doing so, he has fractured the populist movement to such an extent that now, unity is no longer possible under Reform’s banner.

If you believe that I’m wrong or that Restore voters will come back to Reform eventually, then you are seriously underestimating the damage which has been done.

They can talk the talk—all politicians can talk—but that's all it is: just talk.

Reform have shown they will say anything to gain power. We also know that they've had to be dragged kicking and screaming to their current position. If folk feel they can have any confidence in he future of this country.

I ask: Why vote for the same old centrists LARPing as right-wingers, when you can just vote for real right wingers?
