Das Deutsche Krebsforschungszentrum trauert um Harald zur Hausen. Der Medizin-Nobelpreisträger und langjährige Vorstandsvorsitzende des #DKFZ starb am vergangenen Sonntag im Alter von 87 Jahren.

Wow ⬇️ this study blows my mind 🤯 Patients received PD-1 mono therapy and all patients showed clinical complete response 👏 No surgery needed so far. Looking forward to long term results 🤩 Could be paradigm changing for this group of patients 🙏
Mismatch repair–deficient, locally advanced rectal cancer was highly sensitive to single-agent PD-1 blockade. Longer follow-up is needed to assess the duration of response. #ASCO22 nej.md/3GKyFM7
