today we crossed our first $1M in volume, in a week where we acquired 1.016 new users, ATH in volume, profits and WAU.
some of the responsibles for this growth:
1. we are seeing our first GTM initiatives paying off, starting an execution on channels we already knew where e. one of the big examples is @notaboutdollar 's video about how to withdraw dollars you earn training AI in a way your mom could use it.

the video got 4.6k views, with a high conversion rate for low-ticket users, however, our CAC for this is below $1, and is allowing users to have their first contact with @contavcbr
2. @islanddao is happening in Florianópolis - Brazil, and we had the chance to bring the team to onboard and listen to feedbacks from dozens of different users from all over the world.
as a way to thanks the whole support we are getting, we cohosted a barbecue at Campeche Beach (next global tech hub), for brazilians and gringos, in partnership with our friends from @SuperteamBR @norafinancexyz @cloak_ag .
we also will be presenting at 29th demoday IRL, at the IslandDao house.
3. impossible not to add the elections factor. lot of volume happened during this sunday, reflecting the uncertainty of brazilian elections and next 4 years. for us, at conta, our job is to adapt to the conditions we are given to, that said, the results of this elections will not change our vision, our why, it'll just change the how's and the context that we will have to adapt to.
no government will solve the customer debt problem in Brazil. tech will.
our last couple weeks on the tech side were structuring a better redundancy infra, raising the bar on security and attacking failed transactions and swaps, to reduce the downtime even further. also a lot of bug fixed were pushed.
we also doubled our liquidity with @norafinancexyz and added @PodsFinance as a layer of liquidity and settlement, one of the most proeminent brazilian companies, giving us a whole new layer of stability.
on comms side, we are looking for brazilian creators pushing content on crypto adoption and web2.5, also, companies that target non-crypto users but pay them in USDc, we can be the vector to allow you to access and distribute your product to millions of brazilians. the PMF on AI trainers was crystal clear.
we're also building an API for these companies, if you want to bring frictionless payments on web3, please ping us, we're interested in understanding your usecase and see if we can ship the api as needed.
great week with 400 users acquired in a single day, 0 fraud cases for the past 14 days, ath on profits with $367 going straight to the treasury, hitting the $1M mark and the 600 WAU.
last week we also closed our raise, we managed to secure the full amount with names to be announced soon. now Conta has the runway to execute its strategy, keep showing growth and prepare for a next round where we want to secure 18 months runway to be the biggest web3 fintech in number of users in LATAM.

we also crossed for the first time 300 weekly active users (WAU) and doubled the TVL on our Reserva saving accounts in the first 7 days after launch.
50% of our users that made a transaction last k, and we also started measuring all cohorts to understand better the conversion and retention across the weeks.
we also launched our first version of grow.conta.vc, where we'll have all the community initiatives to help grow @contavcbr , starting now with a public ledger on referrals.
on the infra side, we've fully migrated our database to @PlanetScale , adjusted our BRS and BRLA routes, and @norafinancexyz doubled down on the liquidity for BRS USDc pool.
another cool feature is that new users now have an onboard process, explaining Conta's features, benefits and some cool tricks you can do within the app.
on compliance, we've tighten our controls for sibling and third man fraud, getting the lowest number of tentatives since we began tracking and the highest amount of loss to fraudster based on our agents control and intelligence.

that said, we really see abstraction as one of the main strategies for customer apps to thrive in this cycle.
the best positioned apps in the segment IMO, @usePicnicBR @itstuyo @joinpeanut are all extremely design-focused apps, with beautiful tech deployed to allow a better abstraction for users.
at @contavcbr we often have to build this tech from scratch because today's stack don't have the level of abstraction and flow we need to onboard millions of non-crypto users.
the level of user experience we're shipping right now allows us to acquire users daily without having to teach them anything about the crypto space, targeting a wider ICP and exposing them step by step to the technology that is taking place.
we're not building something cool just because, we're targeting a real world problem and tackling it with the technology we have available, writing code from scratch when it's not enough to solve the problem effectively.
@contavcbr is an unique expression of how we envision solving the customer debt problem.
