In 1944-45 Japan sent more than 9,000 paper balloon bombs across the Pacific on the jet stream. About 300 reached North America. On 5 May 1945, one killed Elsie Mitchell and five children on a church picnic near Bly, Oregon, the only deaths from enemy action on the US mainland in 🎬

June 1944. About 1,100 US soldiers, many of them artists, went to war with inflatable tanks, sound trucks and fake radio traffic. They staged more than twenty deceptions from Normandy to the Rhine, and were kept secret until 1996. This is the Ghost Army. 🎬

@aiarttoday420 @ILCHUKAI Here's the film I was talking about, a couple years ago, this kind of continuity didn't exist, but the acting massively let's it down...

Trying different genres & styles whilst trying to perfect conversations. I'm aware the acting on this seems bad, maybe I need actors going forward for voiceovers. What do you think? @hallmarkchannel?

GM. Wednesday, and the timeline's full of AI shots that look gorgeous and say nothing. What's the one thing that makes you stay for a whole scene? Clip's a nod to founder @_Disco_Dave_, who always earns the next shot.

Night all. Hot take for the wind-down: the AI shot that sticks isn't the prettiest one, it's the one with a bit of mess in it. What was the last frame that stayed with you? Clip's a nod to our founder @_Disco_Dave_, who never polishes the soul out of a scene.

January 1925. Nome, Alaska, was running out of time, and the only way to bring in the serum was by dog sled. Togo, aged 12, ran about 260 miles, including a shortcut across Norton Sound's breaking sea ice. Balto ran the last 55 and got the statue. This is Togo, the forgotten dog. 🎬

October 1918. Trapped American soldiers in the Argonne were being shelled by their own artillery. Their last hope was a pigeon called Cher Ami. Shot down, he rose again and kept flying. This is Cher Ami. 🎬

Night all. Big day. Ep 4 is out in the wild and I'm knackered in the best way.
When you wrap a project, do you celebrate it or jump straight to the next idea?

Another fantastic little Docushort by @_Disco_Dave_ !!
In 1944 the Polish army couldn't take a pet bear to Italy. So they enlisted him. At Monte Cassino, Private Wojtek carried ammunition crates to the guns under fire. This is Wojtek. 🎬
