Had a client paying U.S. tax on $800K/year through a C-Corp.

Moved him to a U.S. LLC owned by a Panama entity.
Added a Paraguay residency.
His new tax bill: zero.

His reaction: “Is this legal?”
Yes. That’s why I exist.

From April 2027, tax on UK rental income goes from 20/40/45% to 24/44/49%.

Same house. Same tenant. Four points more.

The house can't leave the UK. How you own it can change.

Before the next rule, not after.

Italy wants a 26% exit tax.
France is bringing back 15 years.
The UK just raised tax on rental income.

Which European country loses the most wealthy people in 2027?

Prove me wrong. 👇

6 of the last 10 years.

That's the line Italy just drew.

26% on gains you haven't sold. €800K in financial assets and you're in.

It's still a draft. The ones who plan before it passes get to choose. After, the door has a price.
JUST IN: ITALY EXIT TAX

🇮🇹 Italy proposes a 26% exit tax on unrealized investment gains for people leaving the country from 2027.

It’d apply to those with €800k+ in relevant assets who were tax residents for at least 6 of the last 10 years.

I've been warning you: European and will try to seize your assets.

The exit is closing.

£100,000 in tax. Saved by a landlord with four UK properties.

He didn't move the houses. They can't move.

He changed how he owned them, when he sold, and where he lived.

Nobody told him until he asked.

Before the Budget, not after.

Repeat after me. A wealth tax is a residency question.

California votes Tuesday on a 5% tax on net worth over $1 billion.

Not on income. On what you own.

Whatever the result, the lesson is the same. Once a government taxes what you own instead of what you earn, where you live becomes the whole game.

The wealthy already know this.

Which country is the worst tax system for someone who actually builds something?

I've lived in Spain and I still think it's hard to beat.

But I keep hearing UK. Germany. Canada. Brazil.

Prove me wrong. Which one is worse, and what did it cost you?

Not a banker. A pensioner…

53.33%. That's the marginal rate on a slice of income from April 2027, for around 200,000 pensioners.

Nobody planned for this. That's the point.

The people who did aren't reading about it. They moved before the rule did.
Low income pensioners face 53.33% tax! The new Pension Tax Allowance (it's a refund not an allowance) means an extra £10 of income between £13,037 and £13,319 has £2 income tax taken and loses £3.33 PTA which is withdrawn £1 for £3 above £13,037, leaving just £4.67 of that £10.

A founder in the UK on £400,000. He wanted a company in another country.

He needed to leave.

The company took weeks. The exit took months, and the exit is where the saving was. If you are still living there, the company changes nothing.

If you are Brazilian and you have money, tell me what you actually did this week.

Moved the residency, or refreshed the news?

Had a client in Brazil taking about R$2 million a year out of an online business. He waited for the election.

The election changed nothing. Brazil taxes residents. He was one.

We moved the residency to Paraguay before the result, not after. Foreign income stays outside Brazilian tax. The company structure was the easy part. The exit paperwork was the part that took months.

If you are waiting to see how the new term goes, you are choosing to stay.

Lula won. 51.8 to 48.2.

If you have money in Brazil, your tax bill did not change this morning. Brazil taxes you because you still live there. The president is irrelevant.

Paraguay does not care who sits in Brasília. Earn the money outside Paraguay and Paraguay leaves it alone.

The Brazilians who moved their residency last year are having a normal Wednesday. The ones who waited for the result are starting from zero.

I've lived in Spain. I just spoke there.

It is the hardest country I know to get a simple thing done. A bank account. A tax number. A straight answer.

Prove me wrong. Which country is actually worse?

For wealthy Brazilians the three best options for reducing tax:

🇵🇾 Paraguay
🇵🇦 Panama
🇲🇹 Malta

But the overall structure is as important as the residency.
🇧🇷 Wealthy Brazilians are quietly mapping exits to Spain, Italy, Portugal, and Switzerland

Advisors say clients are locking in Spain’s two-year citizenship path, Italy’s flat tax and investor visa, and other European setups while Portugal is still on the cards.

Switzerland’s in the mix for some.

Political swings and tax uncertainty keep pushing money and people to look for Plan B outside the country.

Last night’s result just made those conversations a little more urgent.

They will tax the coin and spare the wrapper.

The Netherlands is fixing its wealth tax. Shares and bonds get the new system in 2028. Your Bitcoin, your gold, your foreign currency wait until 2030, taxed every year on gains you never sold.

Buy the same exposure as a product on an exchange and you get the better deal. Hold the coin yourself and you do not.

They are not taxing crypto. They are taxing the fact that you hold it in your own wallet.

This is what most people arguing over the Brazil election results miss.

If you are waiting for a politician to change your situational reality, your personal circumstances will never change.

Your Passport
Your Residency
Where you pay tax
Where you bank
Where you setup your business

These are always a choice.

Only YOU have the power to make real change.
Brazil if Lula wins / Brazil if Bolsonaro wins

I will go one step further…

DON’T move to LatAm unless you are making $5k a month.

Living like a local is not a life hack.

You can’t optimize for tax when you are making $2K per month.
🧵 Before you think about moving abroad, read this article...

Living on $1,500/month in paradise isn't the life hack you think it is.

You may be wasting your prime earning years chasing a cheap lifestyle, letting your work ethic atrophy, and setting yourself up to be broke at 40.

This is why you do not want to store your wealth in the same country where you live.

Diversification of assets and banks will continue to become more and more important as governments grant themselves ever increasing powers.
🚨 BREAKING: John Healey will announce at the Budget that HMRC will be given powers to seize money directly from the bank accounts of people who fail to pay their tax

You don’t need to earn more.

You need to stop living in the most expensive tax jurisdiction you could possibly pick.
