Here's a recap of the Cyber Jack $1 Challenge held at the St. George Light show event held last Saturday. First the first time I've done the challenge, I thought it worked out well. I had 18 people take selfies with me AND got another $41 in donations as well, for a grand total y that this was well received. However, I've been trying for the past 3 days to donate the money to the local chapter of the Ronald McDonald House Charity and guess what? Their web site does not accept donation from a Canadian address!! I've called three times, left messages twice, and still haven't heard back. The reason I chose RMHC was because my travels take me both through Canada and the United States so I could donate to whatever chapter is close to where I'm at an event. That'll teach me to think about something that would be cool. I've never had as much trouble trying to give money away lol So, I changed tactics and donated the $59 to the Saint Jude charity which is also a very worthy charity. I hope no one is disappointed with me not being able to donate to RMHC.
