Given the fact that both Games 3 and 4 were sellouts, that's probably not true. It might be a few bucks at best if you assume NBA merch is more expensive than WNBA merch.

My bigger point was that the NBA (which has a vested interest in the WNBA) could have helped to bail out the WNBA.

And again, that isn't taking culpability away from how poorly the WNBA has handled this... because they have handled it horribly.
