Cartoon capitalism: A fat man, smoking a cigar, hoarding wealth while workers sweat.
Real world capitalism: An entrepreneur, working crazy hours, risking her own money, to provide goods or services others want, while investing profits back into her business.

If the Left believes their cause is just, that the opposition is an enemy, while they are the true representatives of The People, then why shouldn’t they rig an election?

Milton Friedman on how “social justice” destroys a society:
“If I have a philosophy that everything belongs to society—if something happens to me, that’s not my fault, that’s because society did it to me—then the whole concept of property loses its role.”
“Why shouldn’t I destroy property? After all, it’s nobody’s. It belongs to everybody, so it belongs to nobody.”
“Moreover, if I happened to be in a lower-income group, or a deprived social group, or a discriminated-against racial group, that’s the malevolence of other people. It’s not my fault, and I have every right to get back at them.”

This is the real fight of our era.
On one side: the people. Common sense. Merit. Order. Today it has a face: Elon Musk. That's exactly why they're trying so hard to destroy him.
On the other side: chaos, collectivism, corruption, violence. That has a face too: Alex Soros, celebrating Lula's win as Brazil "standing up against authoritarianism."
Let's talk about that victory over authoritarianism. Right as polls were closing at 5pm, a Supreme Court justice, Cristiano Zanin, Lula's former personal lawyer, ordered every polling station in the country to stay open two more hours. After a request from Lula's campaign. Going around the electoral court that normally handles this. Something no court in Brazil had ever done before. Lula had lost the first round. He won the runoff.
If that's what fighting authoritarianism looks like, I'd hate to see the real thing.
Here's the deeper point. Communism has never worked. Not once, anywhere. And globalism, progressivism, whatever they're calling it this decade, is the same project in a nicer suit: more central control, less individual freedom, a small unaccountable elite deciding for everyone else.
A project that doesn't work can only end two ways. Either it collapses into chaos and drags the West into self-destruction with it. Or the West wakes up: a return to order, and a renaissance.
Don't expect them to go quietly. For them this is existential. They'll bend every rule, cheat wherever they can, use every institution they still control. Because the day they truly lose, everything they've buried comes out.
This is the fight. Pick your side.

Why don’t communists and Marxists all get together and grow their own food?
Oh, that’s right. They’re too busy protesting, whining and living off the taxpayer.

As I was reading an online article about famous authors, I came across these names formatted like this:
“Charles Di*kens”
“Emily Di*kinson”
The same article praised Vladimir Nabokov for Lolita, a story in which child sex abuse is painted in a sympathetic light.

For those of you who thought the visit from a Bedford Borough Council official to investigate our daughter Zoe’s (age 12) pretend teddy bear cafe was too ridiculous to be real, here is the arrival of official. This is totally legit. She really did show up at our property to teddy bears having their coffee🧸🧸☕️☕️

Funny how many of the loudest voices for conscription in Britain always belong to those who’ve never fought a war and never will, being comfortably too old to serve.

The only thing keeping the BBC alive at the moment is viewers’ nostalgia for the past - which ironically is the very thing the BBC is trying to destroy with their deconstructionist agenda.

I really can’t understand how any American can look at what’s happening in New York under Islamo-Communist rule and think, oh yeah, that’s what we need in all our cities and states.
