People think I’m crazy to do so... but if you think about it, people hand their credit card to a random waiter all the time and watch it disappear into the back.

For me, I'd rather e smartest AI in the world.

This is why I do it.

1/ One text to buy anything. I bought my kids 2 Garmin watches, a DribbleUp smart ball and an Ollyball without ever opening a website.

2/ Flights and hotels booked for me. No digging for a card, no typing numbers into 6 checkout pages.

3/ Amazon orders handled with one text.

4/ I just say "put it on the United card" or "use the Apple Card" and it does.

FYI the bot never sees the full number or the security code. It securely remembers them, and I specifically approve what gets bought.

Once, you add your cards once, you’ll never have to pull out your wallet again.

Some of you may have met my wife. But I'd like to introduce her to you all.

Without Evelyn, this event wouldn't be possible. She introduced me to Tesla, and she believed in Elon's vision of autonomous cars long before I ever did.

She has stood by me through thick and thin, and this Tesla community in ways many of you will never see. She's my heartbeat and my world. Without her, this community wouldn't be what it is today.

Evelyn is the most selfless person I know. She never does things for credit. She takes care of people quietly, whether it's our family, our friends, or someone she barely knows. And she homeschools our four kids with a patience and love I couldn't match on my best day.

This may be news for some of you, but Evelyn has been battling triple-negative breast cancer since August of last year.

She has endured chemo, surgery, and radiation, and the fight is not over. There have been days that were painful and days that were frightening, and through every one of them she has stayed kind, held onto her faith, and kept showing up for other people. I am honored to serve her and to walk beside her through this.

Woah... I just made a Grok Bot Phone.

I cloned my voice, gave my @bot its own real phone number, and had it call to order pizza.

A short recording in xAI’s voice tool created a digital version of my voice. Then I hooked it up so my bot could actually dial out.

I had it call my “pizza place” so you could hear the entire conversation.

The pickup was for 5 PM under Teslaconomics.

Here’s the order I gave it:

1/ One large Starship pizza - half pepperoni and jalapeño, half pineapple and bacon, light sauce, extra cheese, well done.

2/ 20 extra crispy wings - 10 buffalo, 10 lemon pepper, dressing on the side. If either sauce is out, garlic parmesan is fine.

3/ A chocolate lava cake, 2 Diet Cokes, a root beer, and a lemonade with no ice.

It made the call in my voice and placed the order.

I as the “pizza place” said buffalo and lemon pepper sauce were both out and so it switched all 20 wings to garlic parmesan, exactly as I’d instructed.

Then it asked whether any deal covered the whole order.

I said it had to say “Tesla to the moon” for a 50% discount.

So my bot said “Tesla to the moon” in my voice.

It got the final price, read the entire order back, got confirmation, and said goodbye.

The whole call took 2 minutes and 6 seconds.

Then my bot sent me the recap and the recording.

I’m still shocked that this actually worked… this is the real deal.

Think about all the time we spend on hold, placing orders, booking appointments, and making calls we keep putting off.
