The Eagles losing tonight opens the door for the showdown with Washington and who'll be the bottom of the NFC East, both could fire their coaches.
Eagles have some intriguing pieces though, Saquon Barkley being one, but theres a handful of names like Dickerson, Ojomo, Wollen, and others.
Does Howie have a firesale if they lose to the Cowboys?
Should the Vikings be buyers?

Two years ago the Eagles won the Super Bowl.
Tonight they're missing their QB, their top two receivers and their right tackle.
I used to work at Robinhood. Now I build NFL models, grade every pick in public, and I'm about to make the whole model free. Last week: 8 and 5.
My ia by 0.15 this morning. A coin flip.
Then I did the injury check I promised yesterday.
Jalen Hurts: injured reserve.
DeVonta Smith: out.
Dontayvion Wicks: out.
Lane Johnson: retired.
Saquon Barkley: questionable after missing two straight.
The pick flips. Dallas over Philadelphia.
But not by much. Vegas has Dallas by 4.5. I think Dallas wins by a field goal, not a touchdown. Philly's backups keep it closer than people expect.
Is this the end of the Eagles era, or does Philly shock everyone tonight?
Graded tomorrow. Follow so you don't miss the model when it goes live.

Most know about the Herschel Walker trade and how that worked for the Vikings, the Colts have their own reasons to be skittish about a move.
During the 1999 NFL Draft, they traded their feature back in the prime of his career, before his 7th season, a guy named Marshall Faulk to a 2nd and 5th.
Faulk went on to be an All Pro in 1999, winning OPOY, and finishing 2nd to Kurt Warner in MVP voting en route to a Super Bowl victory and a Hall of Fame career.
I'd prefer the Colts side of history repeats than the Vikings side of it.
Oh, and he was #28.

If NFL MVP was Most Valuable Person -- not just Player -- it would be Brian Flores based on the season thus far.
And he was briefly available as a free agent for $0 against the cap this offseason before re-signing with the Vikings.

The way Rap is saying it, the Colts haven’t got a good enough offer yet and for teams to do better.

@AdamSchefter on compensation for a Jonathan Taylor trade, said most realistic comp would be Christian McCaffery to the 49ers.

The new Kevin O’Connell WINNING mantra this season for the Vikings:
1) play elite defense
2) play elite special teams
3) overall clean, disciplined football
4) don’t turn the ball over on offense
5) pound the ROCK down peoples throats whether it’s successful or unsuccessful

Penalties & Penalty Yards
(Weeks 1 - 7, pre-MNF)
GB leads the NFL by a wide margin in penalty yards, while MIN and IND have been the most disciplined.

Since I'm sure it will come up, here's a list of the worst 6-0 teams by DVOA. Obviously, all these teams were pretty good. They were undefeated! 2026 Vikings are sixth lowest.

This fanbase is funny sometimes. Do people really actually truly think the Vikings are going to dump Kyler Murray (after being 6-0 lmfao) and trade capital for Kirk Cousins or Justin Herbert???
Like come on people, have a brain. It's ride or die with Murray whether people like in his pick six, even states this.

I can't wait for the trade deadline to be over so I don't have to see another dumb ass tweet from someone saying we need to trade for a QB.
Not happening. Like a truly 0% chance unless Murray is hurt these next 2 weeks.

Good news on the Aaron Jones front, however, the Vikings need to upgrade the RB position.
MAKE A TRADE TEASLEY!
MAKE A TRADE TEASLEY!
Vikings RB Aaron Jones’ knee injury that he suffered during Sunday’s win over the Colts is not considered to be significant at this time, and a source described him as “day to day.”

The Vikings rank 6TH overall in total DVOA:
49ers: 1st
Bengals: 2nd
Jaguars: 3rd
Bills: 4th
Seahawks: 5th
49ers: 1st
Bengals: 2nd
Jaguars: 3rd
Bills: 4th

The 49ers remain No. 1 in DVOA but their lead over the No. 2 team has gone from 17.2% last week to 3.0% this week. Also, we have a new No. 2, with Cincinnati now Top 10 in all three phases.

We know the Vikings to be a blitzing team but this is WILD 🤯
The Vikings allow just 3.6 yards per attempt and 2.8 yards per dropback when they rush four or fewer, both of which are the best marks for any defense through 6 games in the QBR era, which dates back to 2007.

The Lions have the 32nd ranked passing defense for yards and points.
They haven’t had one interception all year.
The Packers were the first team they held under 21 points all season thanks to a couple of missed FGs.
Get right game for the Vikings offense in Detroit?

Vikings WR Justin Jefferson is averaging 7.25 targets per game when healthy
Among peers:
Puka Nacua -- 12.4
CeeDee Lamb -- 11.5
JSN -- 11.2
Ja'Marr Chase - 8.4 (minus inj vs Jax)
Vikings have Lions coming up. Will need to score -- and find Jefferson.
