Yesterday at the @TACTraumaCanada (TAC), Ashley Helpin presented on Operation PARATUS: Advancing Canada’s Whole-of-Nation Trauma Readiness Through Civil-Military Collaboration.
PARATUS is a simulation exercise co-organized by CIMVHR, in collaboration with the University of hool of Public Health, St. Michael’s Hospital, @GovCanHealth, @Canada_Company, Canadian Forces Health Services and the @CanadianForces. It explores how Canada’s healthcare system responds and manages large-scale casualties during a major conflict, bringing civilian and military partners together to work through real-time coordination and decision-making.
This conversation started at CIMVHR Forum 2023 when Dr. Bourdeaux offered a keynote on this topic. To follow the progression of this important area of focus, visit the link below to the CIMVHR Annual Report and select Research in Action!
