Iraqi officials suspect Israel carried out airstrikes against two warehouses storing Chinese-made air defense systems recently transferred from Iran to Tehran-backed militias, destroying a large shipment, Asharq Al-Awsat reports.
The suspected strikes reportedly occurred shortly after the weapons arrived and followed a series of explosions targeting militia weapons depots around Baghdad since October 1, including facilities housing attack and reconnaissance drones.
