Brent Venables on keeping Oklahoma's locker room together:

"There ain't nothing fine.

"My challenge to them?

"No ones required to be here Monday.

"If you are going to be here on Monday, you better square your jaw up, tighten your screws."

Our 6’8” center has put in the work this offseason and earned several offers from MIAA programs.

Expecting a breakout season for Levi! Excited to see his hard work pay off.

"We're such an instant gratification era ... We're trying to skip the step of adversity and growth ... but we're gonna have to face it.

Sometimes the grass isn't greener on the other side. Sometimes you're just trading one set of problems for another."

HS sports:

Lifting with your team 2x/wk in the off-season doesn’t always guarantee you will win a title. It just increases your likelihood of success.

But not training with your team 2x/wk in the off-season almost always guarantee that you will not win a title. It wildly decreases your chances of success.

After a great visit, I’m blessed to receive an offer from @CalvinMensBball thanks to Coach Sall and everyone at Calvin for this opportunity!

Overprotected kids become unprepared adults.

Dawn Staley nailed it.🔥

You can’t shelter your child from every hard moment and then expect them to handle adversity when it counts.

Hard is the lesson.

What’s one hard lesson sports taught you that helped later in life? 👇

Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible moms out there — especially the ones making sacrifices nobody sees.

Thank you for the love, strength, prayers, rides, meals, support, and everything in between. We wouldn’t be who we are without you!
