Happy to announce we have signed our first official brand partner: @CORSAIR. 🍅🚀
6 years ago, we started this out of a farmhouse in the Turkish countryside, cinder blocks holding up our lights, and regular power outages.
Since then: 2 floods, 3 cross-continental moves, and nd Corsair gear has been in every build. Happy to partner up and show you what we already have planned for the future. Keep an eye out!
My daily setup at the moment (10% off on all)
Galleon 100 SD keyboard - go.corsair.com/TomatoBoard
Scimitar mouse - go.corsair.com/STGScimitar
Virtuoso Pro headset - go.corsair.com/headphones MM Glass mousepad - go.corsair.com/mousepad

This is what I expected. There were enough off-topic questions in the initial Q&A thread, that CIG just used those to make another unrelated episode without asking for more questions.
Imo, keep your questions on topic if you don't want them to do this.

6 incoming #StarCitizen releases likely include:
🧬Xi'an generalist ship
🔫Drake Heavy Fighter
🛠️2 Ground-Based Fabrication Vehicles
+ The Galaxy & Liberator.
All, I believe, are coming in November or December based on speculation below.

Made a post about a space game I like. Dipped out for a day, came back to the most toxic thread I've ever had.
From what I can tell it's because folks just don't the game to have another chance because they don't like it.
Y'all seriously gotta find some games to enjoy! 😂

I can finally talk about Mass Effect Universe.
Since Bioware closed I can now reveal that I was part of the Mass Effect Council, saw what BioWare was building, and provided feedback during development.
• Set 600+ years after the Reaper War
• You play as a customizable N7 g a walking gun rack, you're a cross between John Wick and James Bond
• Shepard's legacy preserved, regardless of your ending
• A galaxy divided into three major factions
• Humanity, Krogan, Batarians, and more allied together
• Council races forming their own alliance
• The Geth emerging as a third superpower
• A galactic Cold War instead of another Reaper style invasion with a shadowy adversary
• Geth-built megastructures
• Connections between the Milky Way and Andromeda
• Experimental technology implanted in you as a unique point of difference
• Hacking and manipulating the environment
• See through walls, identify systems, remotely trigger hazards and more
• Handcrafted missions like ME1-3
• But with Hitman-style freedom in how you complete them
• Brutal close-range executions
• Squadmates who can clash with each other
• Romance wasn't being sanitised
• Liara returns - now an incredibly powerful Asari Matriarch
From what I saw, BioWare was making Mass Effect for us, the fans, not for people who don't exist.
It looked incredible.
And now we may never get to play it.

Folks getting on my case about wanting another Mass Effect telling me it wouldn't be good don't get it.
I just want there to be more space games. I just like space stuff. It's in the name.

Laughing at "it would have been worse than Mass Effect Andromeda."
This leaked trailer, the testimonials from the devs working on it, and the state of the space game genre right now???
Mass Effect UNIVERSE deserved a chance.

Even just moving away from Frostbite probably would have made this a better release than Andromeda.

#starcitizen starchitect was the topic of choice in this week's Launch Sequence Podcast with @starjumporg. It was a lot of hype, but there's definitely still one pain point we couldn't get past 🫠

Dantics putting out some PHENOMENAL coverage of Squadron 42. More folks are learning.
🚨 BREAKING NEWS: Squadron 42 might actually pull this off.. AND.. It's actually releasing soon.
After 13+ years of development, we've finally been allowed to play it and feedback is positive.
- Mass Effect-style crew and storytelling
- Wing Commander space combat
- Ship bat
- Dynamic destruction
- A frankly irresponsible Hollywood cast
- 40+ hour single-player campaign.
Evidence is mounting that the Q2 2027 release might be the one. It's feature complete, people have played and enjoyed it, and it has it's own Steam page.

Can confirm a few things from my short time in #StarCitizen tech preview today:
- Interplanetary Server Meshing is active: Nyx 1 is split into 3 servers. This raised sFPS from 1 -> 15 between Test 1 and Test 3.
- Locations are clustered in sectors that act as countries, with cluas regions; within these clusters are locations with several buildings.
- So locations(green) fit into clusters(yellow), fit into sectors(blue), and replicate across the planet (see the attached video).
- Locations can be a number of things, but one key highlight is local mission boards.
- Mission boards allow contracts from various guilds to be taken that are visible globally, regionally locked, and local-only contracts.
- Performance at the locations was okay-ish, but still rough. I sat around 30 - 50 FPS in POIs, whereas I can usually get 60+
I'm hoping to get more time with it, but I'm trying to get some editing done tonight!

There's an extra mystery surprise included in this test 👀
Not sure what it is, but this is a pretty substantial moment for #StarCitizen. If they can prove out this model of POIs, combined with planetary servers, localized missions, and AI spawning. Big deal.

I'll let you know when I know!
