Take this advice seriously!
👇🏼
U can improve drastically w/out having to change your swing!!
Most of the time, a brain change is more important than a swing change & often times your swing naturally fixes itself w/ a mentality or approach adjustment!

For all those listening, sometimes you feel like you’re getting “burnt out”, slow your preparation down a bit. You have put in too much time and effort to give up !
When you get tired or when something gets really difficult and you feel like stopping or quitting...

try slowing down first.

Slowing down allows you to realize what the situation actually is and it gives you the power to respond accordingly rather than react blindly.

If you play D1 you’re blessed.

If you play D2 you’re blessed.

If you play D3 you’re blessed.

If you play NAIA you’re blessed.

If you play at JUCO you’re blessed.

If you play at the next level (at ANY level), YOU’RE BLESSED!

Just because you do something often doesn’t mean you’re getting better at it.

I drive every day, but I’m not much better now than I was 10 years ago.

I cook every day, but I’m not getting any closer to being a gourmet chef.

“Showing up” isn’t enough if you want to get better.

Players: If you’re putting in consistent, purposeful work you’ll get there. Don’t beat yourself up. You’re a work in progress; 1 step at a time is the only way. Nobody expects perfection, but with good daily habits/routines, a great work ethic & persistence, success is attainable

I don’t know who needs to hear this but.....
Coaches don't control how hard you work
Parents don't control your time management
Trainers don't control how often you lift
Teachers don't control your effort in the classroom
ONLY YOU DO
Accept responsibility for your OWN actions & u might give yourself a chance!
